A huge step down for the Symmetry Series

I have used the Symmetry series for the past several years on different iphone models. Right out of the box I noticed it was flimsy compared to the previous ones I've had. Also, there is a grainy texture on the back that makes it unpleasant to the touch and harder to hold. Why did Otterbox mess with this case?
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

The case itself is perfect for size and weight. There are only two main issues. The case is very slick so you have to be careful when holding it so it doesn't slip out of your hand. The other issue is the cutout around the charging port is not smooth so it rubs a raw spot in your pinky if you cradle the phone with your pinky finger in the bottom center of the case. This is an issue I have brought up to Otterbox before but has not been addressed.
I ordered the Symmetry case before I received my iPhone 13 pro. I’ve had nothing but otterbox symmetry cases for about 7 iPhones and had always been happy with them. This one does not seal around the outer edges as well as the cases in the past. I called otter and a new one of the same style was sent to me with the same problem. I just might look around.

Protective but yet a bit climpsy

so , i recently got this in Grey, first time i noticed that the sillicone didnt fit snug like they used to , a bit loose on volume up down and screen lock buttons , not sure it will protect my ip like it used to , can u guys explains about the drop test thing? will it survived and protect my phone like it used to ?

not happy with this case. the volume side of the case exposes part of the stainless portion of iphone

Ok but Sharp Edges and Uncomfortable to Hold

I have had this case for about two months and it is ok. I have not dropped my iPhone on anything other than carpet and knocked it off an end table on to hardwood flooring. It has done the job thus far but I really want to replace it. The bottom of the case has sharp edges that dig into your fingers when holding the device and there are additional edges around the cameras that dig into your hands. The edges at the bottom of the phone are a real issue. Overall I am not fan of the design. The poor ergonomics are not worth the slim design. They makes the device simply uncomfortable to hold. I have had Otterbox Commuter cases in the past and have been extremely pleased. Not at all pleased with this purchase. I wish I could return it. My advice, skip this and buy a Defender or Commuter case.

We'd be more than happy to help get you set up with a brand-new warranty replacement to see if there was just something odd with the edges of your particular case since that wasn't anything that gave us cause for concern during our internal testing. Good protection

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I needed a case to protect my huge pocket investment. Your case does that for sure. I have a wireless charger and your case seems to stop the charge. I put it on the charger moving it until it says its charging, but soon it quits. I am now removing the case to get the wireless charger to work. See if you can improve the charging capability.
