iPhone 12 dimensions v 13 dimensions.

Otterbox states that this case is “backwards compatible for the iPhone 12 Pro Max. 12 Pro Max thickness = 7.4mm. 13 Pro Max thickness = 7.7 mm. THE PHONES ARE NOT THE SAME SIZE. Otterbox failed here big time.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Although we are not a liberty to get into the specific engineering details of our products, suffice it to say that we were able to design the case in such a way that it will allow for use with either the new iPhone 13 Pro Max or the iPhone 12 Pro Max despite the depth differential.
