I bought this case less then a month ago and the hard shell has already cracked. This is the second time this has happened with this specific type of case.

Wish there were more color options. Indigo is a very dark blue color easily confused with black in dark lighting. Case is not as heavy as defender line of cases. Secure for phone.

I have always loved otter box cases. Been getting them for years and really like that I can easily get a replacement when one cracks. My only complaint this time is that the apple on back of phone has moved down on phone and so now the circle on back is just blank and looks a little odd.

I had an otter box on my old phone, I bought a new phone and would not even open it before I received my New Otter Box. My old phone was the original I Phone and lasted until 06/2021 ONLY because it had an OTTER BOX! The Otter Box virtually made it indestructible! And so far the new Otter Box has done the same for my new one. The best thing you can do for yourself and your wallet is to purchase an Otter Box before you start using any device that they have covers for. Its the cheapest insurance you'll ever purchase! We were surprised to see your post about the lack of compatibility with Apple's MagSafe ecosystem for this specific Commuter Series Case since neither the iPhone SE (2nd Gen), iPhone 8, or iPhone 7 actually have MagSafe technology within.
A Magsafe charger will generally still provide some lower level of charge to other devices, but that circular configuration is really specific and intended for MafSafe iPhones. You might take a look at our OtterSpot Wireless Charging System, as that will definitely help to keep things amped up!
