Buying an OtterBox to protect my new iPhone 7 was a no-brainer. An OtterBox Defender handled the job nicely for four years with my former iPhone 5, including, for example, keeping it 100% damage-free when it fell off the top of my car, traveling about 50mph.
My new OtterBox Commuter is a little more refined than the former Defender, but I like the solid design and I'm confident it will deliver the protection needed when the time comes, and it will in my case, that I do something stupid to my phone.
I like the sleeker design of the Commuter, but I'm still getting used to the slippery hard plastic. I miss the rubber exterior of the Defender. It kept it from sliding on hard surfaces. Even so, the Commuter gets very high marks for solid protection of my iPhone investment.

I've been wanting this case for a while, as I was currently using a symmetry case. I got the pink one and I love it, the only problem is I've had it for about 3 days now and the inner pink park is already discoloring :(

This case is really good and protects well if the phone is dropped. It's not bulky so it doesn't add much extra weight to phone and it's easier to hold and use with the case on it.

This took longer than it should have to arrive and the ETA date kept being pushed back (with no email updating that) but once it finally arrived it’s a great purchase. It’s not too bulky but feels like it protects my phone better than a basic cheap case. The colors are great.
