I always use the commuter cover. I had been using one hat was probably 3-4 yrs. old. They hold up so well. However, being old, the rubber was breaking down.

I expect to update my phone before I need to get a new cover. I'm the kind of person that keeps phones until they are truly done. The last cover I had did exactly that! This one has a new (for me) cover on the charging station, which keeps the dust out. Great job, Otterbox.

So I’ve had this case for a little over a month now. I’ve only used Otterbox cases exclusively on my two iPhones now for the past 4 years. I was always pleased with my Defender Case. Great warranty, quality, customer service. The Commuter has not left me with the same feelings. I do still like it and would still recommend Otterbox as a trusted brand to anyone but I find this case to be too slippery. Possibly due to my color choice (pink), I find the rubbery part of the case stains super easily. Next time I would have chosen to get the Defender case or a case with a Popsocket attached maybe?. The Defender is WAY More sturdy for sure. Overall though, im satisfied with what I paid for and it has protected my device so no complaints.

If you need the best protection cover for you phone OTTER is the one to look at first - always. It might cost more than the competition but it's worth every dollar. The fit and finish is #1.

The rubber part was a pain to line up to snap the shell in. A few times i thought it wasn’t going to fit. Was ready to give up and demand a refund. But it finally lined up. This is the worst case for taking your phone out of and back in. Once you get it in correctly it seems like it definitely will protect the phone.
