Got the commuter for my new iPhone 7. I like that it's sturdy and seems to offer good protection, yet it's not bulky or clunky. The covered buttons are very easy to use, and I can easily reach the ringer switch with the case on. The only reason for four stars is that it did not come with a screen shield. However, I did end up getting a Zagg tempered glass shield (for iPhone 6 which is the same size display as iphone 7) on clearance and I'm glad I did!

It took a long time to arrive. My old otterbox was grey and white. Loved it. New colors are bad. I almost did not purchase because of this. Settled on aqua with aqua. Ugh. Not happy.

Purchased for iPhone SE 2020. The case fits the dimensions of the phone but the back is not solid and vanity hole is not over the apple symbol. The case is also made of a very slippery type of plastic.

Terrible quality

I’ve been using a defender case on my IPhone 6S since the phone came out (with the same case for about 6 years) and just bought this for my 13 pro max because I expected similar quality and this case is super disappointing.
This case doesn’t fit right, the rubber isn’t gripping the sides correctly around the volume and power buttons. There’s this loose area that dirt and dust can enter between your phone and case and will start damaging your phones finish over time. I know because this was a problem for the defender case back with the iPhone 5. They fixed this problem with the defenders for the iPhone 6 so I don’t why they went backwards. This new silicone is also less supple and harder feeling. It just doesn’t feel as protective.
The hard plastic shell is also not as good as the shell on my nearly 6 year old defender. This just isn’t holding the silicone well. It slips off so easily. If you had a bad drop in this case I wouldn’t be surprised if the silicone case popped out of the hard plastic shell.
I think you guys are trying too hard to get your old case designs to conform to wireless charging and MagSafe and ended up making subpar cases in return. Just go with the old school heavy duty designs for the older defender and commuter cases and create new designs that are MagSafe compatible instead of making your old designs bad.
TLDR: Will not buy again, will not recommend. These don’t fit right anymore and aren’t as protective as they used to be.

I had expected that the case would have included a screen saver. It did not. The box the case was in appeared to have been open. It was disappointing. It was not S good as a previous Otter box I had.
