My first Otter Box was 10 years old, dropped, kicked and left on the roof of my car - bounced by the side of the road… and protected my iPhone! Replaced by a new Otter Box this summer - a great protected, heavier protection on the all sides, great color choices, even a cover to protect the receptical for the charging cord - all new improvements to me. I’ll always recommend an Otter Box.

I've used the iphone5s version of this for years and it worked great. I had my iphone 5s since 2013 (so 3 years) and I've dropped it a million times but it's still in perfect condition without even a little scratch to this day. I bought this after I upgraded my phone, I already dropped my iphone 7 many times (lol) and it's doing just fine without any shattering or scratching. Sometimes I want to switch up my case to a pretty phone case with fancy designs, but I drop my phone too often and I don't want to risk breaking it. So, if you're like me this will be perfect for you.

I bought this item thinking it would be like the old otterbox cases I’ve bought in the past. It was not. There is no grip to the case. It always slides out of my hand or on hard surfaces. It works well as a protector, but it is hard plastic with no grip. Still like ya anyway, otterbox.
