So sorry to learn about any disappointment you've had with the Strada Series case. We've thoroughly tested and confirmed that this case will work with any of our Qi wireless chargers. However, this is not one of our made for MagSafe cases and since we don't perform any third party testing we're unable to guarantee the compatibility between our case and another company's charger. As far as pricing goes, we think the cost of the unit is well worth the high-caliber protection, outstanding customer service, and limited lifetime warranty that all come along with the product. Needs redesign

First one I got did not allow button presses, think it partially melted during shipping? The main reason for the low rating is that the magnets that keep the cover closed also affect the compass and GPS. Recalibration does not work though I have tried several times. More, the magnets partially erase the magstripe on credit cards, and am grateful for stores that use more advanced readers, though this is not true of many foreign countries. It would have been nice if it worked with magsafe, since there are magnets on the lid and case itself, would have made living with erased cards worth it.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

A failure in a previously great line of cases.

I'm so disappointed. I've been a stubborn fan of the Otterbox Strada Folio cases for years now, starting with my iPhone 6. They've been sturdy and protective and nice-looking every time, and give me the comfort of privacy and protection with the screen covered. (Plus, on a dorkier note, I could open my Otterbox to reveal my otter background...) I never had interest in anything different. This version of the series is a shocking dip in quality. The phone doesn't fit properly into the case; in fact, it gets worse over time and easily comes out at corners/sides, rendering it both unprotected, and impossible to hit buttons. The design makes it very easy to bump buttons when closed, taking unintentional pictures etc. There's no longer a tab to make opening it easy. The material where the cover connects quickly starts breaking apart. And the material covering the credit card spaces just gradually shreds away over time. This is absolutely terrible quality and doesn't meet needs. It's twice as shocking because of how good all the previous version of this case have been. Don't get this unless you truly can't find another strada/folio style for your device and are prepared for the phone to come out easily, you to be bumping buttons frequently, and it to look terrible quickly. I really hope they come out with better versions in the future; sad to leave Otterbox behind. They don't have another Strada/Folio case for my device to match my needs.

The beautiful protective case you need!

I love this case so much. I have a 13 Pro Max in Sierra blue. The beautiful brown leather goes great with it. The camera lenses are protected by the small lip, the magnetic closure works great, and the stainless steel Otterbox badge gives the case an added premium feel. The phone is secure! The phone wouldn't pop out if dropped, but it's easy to remove or insert into the case. The rubber materials are premium quality.
The leather has gotten a nice patina over the past year which looks cool! I also like that the volume buttons are easy to use with the case closed.
I feel like Otterbox thought of everything when they built this case. It's worth every penny.

Don’t recommend

I used to love this case. I had it for my 6, and again for my 10. The case for this phone I’ve had to warranty twice and am about to call again. That will be my 4th case in less than 2 years for the same phone. The corners become flimsy and start to bend away from the phone. Especially the top right near the camera. The only reason I continue to use is because otterbox has sent me new ones to keep replacing.

I love how strong the magnet holds the case shut and the clear strength of the case for protecting my phone. I used it for one month then bought a different case due to multiple scratched areas on the leather which have never happened to any of my other leather wallet cases. I also didn’t like I could only have 3 cards and no pocket for cash. If you made a different genuine leather that didn’t scratch, had a pocket for cash/receipts and one more slot for another card I would definitely buy it and stay with it.

I love the case and it seems to really protect my phone. The reason I gave 3 stars instead of 5 is because I'm constantly hitting the volume button without realizing it and it turns my volume down even when I've locked it. Due to this I have missed important texts and calls. Wish the fold for cover was stiffer and not so soft.
