Flap design ruins the case

The case for my iPhone XS Max had a small flap to allow you easily raise the flap. The version for the iPhone 13 pro max doesn’t, and it makes it difficult to open, enough so that I leave the flap open most of the time which defeats the purpose of the cover. It takes a conscious effort, and a few tries, every time you try to open the flap. It’s too bad because the old design was perfect. I might try to contact Otterbox and see if they have any options, but it’s too much money for a case that is frustrating to use.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Case constantly pressing volume down button

I love the hard shell otterboxes I've gotten in the past. Been buying them nearly as long as they've been available. This time I decided to get the leather folio because it looks sharp and I liked the idea of being able to close something over the screen.
But... 100% regret this decision. The case itself is beautiful and feels great to hold. It could be slightly easier to open. I've seen reviews asking why a tab in previous models was removed and despite having never used that, I still agree it would be very much appreciated.
The biggest problem is the volume down button gets pressed constantly by the case. If I touch the phone, the volume goes down. If I press the side button to turn the screen off, half the time it takes a screen shot.
This alone makes the cases basically unusable. Just picking up the phone can cause the volume to get turned all the way down and you'll never realize it. I've already missed calls and text and only been using it for like two days.
I would not recommend getting this case unless you really really don't care about the volume controls. Get a different Otterbox though because they do make good stuff apart from this.

They ruined it.

I've had strada cases on all my last 3 iphones. I loved them. They were stylish, but simple. The first one folded into a stand, which was really convenient, then they decided to get rid of that idea with the XS case, so now its just a plain jane. But, I was still okay with it. Now... The 13 pro case, it has no flap to open it with. HUGE MISTAKE! This makes it super difficult at times to open, you have to get a finger nail under the edge to open it, its super frustrating, and honestly, I can't believe they thought this would be okay. I can't be the only one who realizes this. I honestly feel like I should be refunded, because it completely ruined this case for me.

This is my second Strada case, that says what I think of them. Well made and very protective. When I got my first IPhone 13, I ordered one right away. I was quite pleased with the appearance and quality, but I found the design had changed. Tha small tab on the front cover, used for opening, was now gone. I now had trouble opening the cover with one hand, unlike the previous version.
Secondly, the Strada is not MagSafe charger friendly, as it will not stick on my vertical MagSafe charger stand, another disappointment. I think Otterbox was slightly off target on this model at this time, sorry to say. I now use it only when working, for the protection, then switch to another case for general use.

I’ve owned a few Strava’s and I am greatly disappointed to see the little tab that helps to lift the cover… is gone. This makes it difficult to open and you must use two hands. A step backwards in my opinion.

Not Magsafe Compatible

I like the feel and the look of this case but am disappointed that it is not Magsafe compatible. not a deal breaker, but would likely not have purchased it if I had known.

Love Strada but HATE this case

Strada is my go to case. I have used them on every iPhone for at lease 8 years. This one just does not fit. There is gapping on the right edges where the stainless steel can be seen. The camera is not at all protected. Also, with my ID in the card slot, the case will not close.
