[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought the Jet Bot a few months ago. I previous own one other brand. The Jet Bot is excellent with the mapping. Able to name the room and draw the border. Also, let you select which room to clean. It is smart to charge the unit when battery is running low and remuse the cleaning. I would suggest to get the jetbot with cleaning station or even the AI.
I would recommend this to a friend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall a great vacuum, we got one for each floor in the house. Love the map and how you can configure each room. Wish there was better Alexa integration..can only say "turn of jetbot" but not "ask jetbot to clean the bedroom"

Horrible on low pile area rugs.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This vacuum does a nice job on bare floors, but does a horrible job on low pile area rugs. It barely picks anything up on our area rugs such as dog hair or smaller debris likely due to the fluffy roller brush which seems to work better on our wood floors.
The LIDAR is fine, but I do notice that it has issues around certain objects like chair legs or items lower than the sensor area.
The Clean Station is a big plus as I don't have to clean up the dustbin in the vacuum every time.
The SmartThings app that's used to operate this machine is okay. One thing that I wish it had was the ability to add a second map so that the robot vacuum could map out our second floor.
Overall, it's an okay robot vacuum, it just doesn't do as well on our low pile area rugs so I end up having to manually vacuum that area after the robot vacuum is done.

Jet Bot vs iRoomba

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] A few years ago we bought the latest and greatest most expensive at that time iRoomba vacuum robot. I work from home, have allergic child and very furry puppy. Needless to say - I need a clean house! Only after purchasing Samsung Jet Bot I realized how wonderful it is to have a real robot vacuuming for you. No need to chase it around the house nor keep looking to where it’s stuck and constantly cleaning it’s bin (small!) filters and rollers.
Please do yourself a favor and purchase your Jet Bot with clean station! I am still waiting to empty/change the dust bag - my bot keeps cleaning and emptying itself with no fuss or complains. I set the schedule to clean M-F about 2000 sq ft. This Samsung Bot is quiet, beautifully designed, fits under our contemporary furniture without problems and most importantly returns for the second run just to go around the edges and thoroughly clean the baseboards.
Simply amazing machine! And I own variety of high end vacuum cleaners…. that are now resting….
