Ineffective

Ineffective, Overpriced. This vacuum is really expensive and can't handle simple pet hair on hardwood floors. it just pushes it around in piles and leaves it all over my home. The filter sensor gets tripped and requires cleaning on a weekly basis. This vacuum is way more hassle than the convenience it's suppose to deliver. I previously had a 10 year old Roomba, and that ancient Roomba worked 100X better than this brand new Power Bot

Hello there.
We are here to help you maximize your vacuum.
We recommend that if the cleaning area is a wooden floor, installing the Clean Station along the grain of wooden floors is best.
And if the Jet Bot cannot vacuum clumps of dirt, some may remain on the floor after cleaning. - Please use another cleaning tool to clean them regularly.
Please check this link to your user manual for details. Turn to page 16 (installation note bullet #1 and #4) https://downloadcenter.samsung.com/content/UM/202210/20221031155619757/O_DJ68-00858B-03_221028.pdf
I have also included this link on what to do if the vacuum does not collect dirt.
The vacuum is not cleaning dirt https://www.samsung.com/us/support/troubleshooting/TSG01003061/#powerbot-will-not-collect-any-dirt

better, still needs work

i bought this bot because it claims to have 'no go zones' and responds to magnetic tape. mine bounces against the tape until it gets 1 drive wheel over and then it cries that is is stuck. i can't get to any access to 'manage maps' to define either rooms or the so called no go zones. it is better than my last 7040 bot that just ran over everything. i like that it finishes up around the edges and furniture, the brush is a big plus getting into corners and along the edges without scraping the wall. the edge cleanup trips over the tape again and he has to be rescued. as of now, it will never be able to run unsupervised. better than shark. recommend with reservations
I would recommend this to a friend!

No replacement parts.

Just got this recently and I'm honestly kinda disappointed at how it handles dog hair on our low pile area rugs. It has trouble picking up our dog's long hair off the rug and even flattens the hair when it goes over it. It works fine on our wood flooring though.
I have also looked around and asked Samsung Experts if there's an option to buy the Auto Empty Clean Station for the Jet Bot Robot separately in the future and they just redirect me to their Samsung Parts website, which doesn't help, as it only shows the owner's manual for the Jet Bot. There's also no way to find replacement parts such as the main brush roller or filter. So after that 1 year warranty, you're basically out of luck if you need to buy replacement parts for maintenance or want to buy the Clean Station in the future.
The LIDAR feature is nice as I don't really see it bumping into everything, but it does have issues when it comes to navigating around our coffee table. The SmartThings App is fine and easy to use, but it's not as fully featured as I had hoped for. It doesn't have an option to have two maps if you need to use the Jet Bot on a second floor.
Overall, the lack of replacement part options and not being able to get an Auto Empty Clean Station as a separate item in the future makes me regret buying this vacuum.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great job picking up the tiny particles

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This product was so easy to set up. It came out of the box already charged. My son downloaded the Samsung app and began programming the Jet Bot Vacuum right away. It was also cute that it talks to you in a loud enough voice that you could here clearly in another room. It had gotten tangled in some string and called us for help! My only criticism is the collection box is small which is weird because the Bot is very good at cleaning the area twice around and runs for quite a while! It also passed over a few areas on my carpet and left behind visible lint and particles. However, the advanced 5-layer filtration system helped to get the tiniest of particles on my floors and I didn't have to sneeze or cough at all from the outflow air as I have done in the past with other vacuums. We tried the No-Go zone feature after the Bot ran over my cat's food dish. We cut the strip of tape that came in the box to fit around my cat's food. The Bot easily went around these areas with no problem! I love how the Bot starts in a zig-zag pattern and repeats the area twice. It was also excellent at moving around and getting access to small crevices such the metal legs of my bed and the chair legs around my dining table. It could sense the obstacle at about 6 inches ahead, instead of bumping into it all of the time which could damage the machine. The JetBot Automatically adjusts suction power to clean. It went over carpet, linoleum, and tile excellently. The dust bin held the most tiniest of particles I never thought I would find in my carpet. We live near the beach so it was great to see so many sand granules being sucked up by the machine. Definitely a keeper for a long time!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've used the Samsung Jet Bot+ robot vacuum for about a month now and it has freed up so much of my time. I have an Australian Shepherd that constantly sheds his undercoat. If I go 3 days without vacuuming, I would have little tumbleweeds of his fur rolling around the house. This robot vacuum has eliminated my need to do touch up vacuuming sessions. Now I set the robot to vacuum whenever I'm not home, and I come home to clean floors each and every time.
The set up was very straight forward. I downloaded the Samsung SmartThings app and scanned the QR code on the robot. Five minutes later, the little guy was scanning my house with its LIDAR and creating a map of my home. I then divided up the floor plan to "rooms" that can be set to be cleaned at different times, and plotted restricted zones that the robot should not clean - like where my dog's water bowl is, and where there are wires that can be easily tangled.
Once everything was all set up, I can control the vacuum from my phone to clean the specific rooms and areas that I want. I can also set it to do a "spot clean" which is an area that needs extra attention. The top floor of my house is about 1000 sq ft and it takes the robot about 90 minutes to finish the job. Once the vacuuming is complete, I get a notification on my phone with a report on how long the job took and the routes that the robot took to complete the job.
Once the robot is full of dust and fur, it returns to the cleaning station where all the dirt is sucked up into the cleaning station. This means that I don't have to empty out the dust bin every time the robot is full. Once the cleaning station is full, I get a notification to empty out the container from the top of the station. The cleaning station also acts as a charging port for the robot and that's where it sits when it's not in action.
Overall, this vacuum robot has been amazing and I would not hesitate to recommend it to anyone. I can't wait to buy a second one for my downstairs as well!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Pros : LiDAR technology Long duration battery Easy room mapping Love the design
Cons: Doesn’t work with google home or alexa Scheduled run doesn’t have option to select individual rooms SmartThings App sucks, they need to hire smart resources to redesign the app especially for robot vaccum

good but cliff sensor error drives me nuts.

I bought this and the s23+ together a couple of months ago. Overall the product is good but oh my God, the cliff sensor issue drives me nuts. If you have a black rug with a white design on it, this product is useless as it gives you a cliff sensor error. It thinks the robot is about to fall off a cliff and it stops working. It's pretty much useless at that point. However if I avoid that area, which is my kitchen table) it works fine. However the area I wanted this for wad the kitchen table area so it's pretty much a loss at this point.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This robot vacuum is pretty amazing. It was very easy to install first off. I just took it out of the box plugged in the clean station, pressed the on button on the Jetbot and it went to the clean station to charge. After it was charged sufficiently I turned it on and it quickly started to clean and dust. It doesn’t make a lot of noise, I really like that. Anyway, it cleans around obstacles well. I use it daily because it does such a great job of sucking up dust and crumbs. Dust used to drive me crazy. Now with the Jetbot I don’t see any dust! I have an easier job keeping my home clean. I also pair it with the app and that is another plus! I’m always surprised at how much dust comes out in the trash, I guess it’s thanks to the 99.999% filtration this machine is working with! I highly recommend to anyone with kids and pets. My life has literally changed because of the Jetbot. I set it to clean while I’m away and my family and I comes home to a dust and dirt free environment. I’m very happy!
