This is such a quiet and unobtrusive machine. I have no idea if it does what it's supposed to. It gives me peace of mind so I used for Thanksgiving, 24/7, while I had house guests and dinner. I will use it again for Christmas dinner with family. I turn it on for 2-4 hours daily just because it gives me peace of mind. I think it does clean the air because there are no lingering cooking odors after each massive meal. Love the timer. No regrets about this investment.

The unit is a bit pricey but, moves a lot of air. There's no dust flying around in the air or dust on the tables around the unit. So, less time dusting off the furniture. Unit is pretty quiet for the amount of air it can move. I was hesitant on buy it due to the size and the price. It was a good decision in my opinion for the amount of space I wanted to keep the air clean in.
