I thought I could put it together myself, I couldn’t. I had a Genesis C I had bought 20 years ago, I put it together with no issues. This one I had my roommate put it together, he had no issues, lol. It took about 2 hours. And you definitely need 2 people.I would not have been able to do it! My advice pay the extra money to have it put together.

The Genesis paired with the Weber crafted system has made grilling significantly easier with better, more reproducible results. We interchange the pizza stone and vegetable roasting basket often. Looking forward to the flat top griddle this spring. SS grates are low maintenance and as a whole keeps a very stable temperature.

I was impressed with the durably of my father’s Weber kettle grill growing up. I believe he had it over 30 years. I made the mistake of buying a less expensive grill and watched as it deteriorated over time. When it came time to purchase a new grill, I decided to go with a quality one, the Weber Genesis. I’m impressed with the construction and can’t wait to get a few more meals under my belt with it.
