Grill starts great as all of our past webers have. Unfortunately the only way you can see temperature of grill is if you plug it in. Also the digital temperature when plugged in does not seem to read accurately. With grill hood open and grill on lowest setting digital grill temperature still reading over 400. Wish we would have gotten the non smart grill with traditional temperature gauge. Or wish it had the traditional temperature gauge as well. For future production consider including traditional temperature gauge so grill temperature can be read when not plugged in. If it had this feature grill would be great! On a side note all of our other Weber products have been a 5 star.

Our grills are designed to be used with the lid down. "Lookin' ain't cookin'" is what we say! The thermocouple temperature probe provides an average reading of the internal grill temperature.

My BBQ’n and grilling has never tasted so good and done to perfection. Truly is the best grill I have owned. Assembly was not difficult and all hardware was present 😃. I love the digital temperature controller. It’s very accurate and makes me look like a BBQ master. My family is raving about how much better the food taste. I decided to get the rotisserie for it and OMG!! The best roast I ever made.
I have a Weber Genesis that’s over 20 years old and loved it so much I decided to upgrade to smart grill. I really like the slide out bottom that makes cleaning so easy and the smart temperature probe and app too
My grill isn't complete yet because some parts were missing. However, the Customer Care Department at Weber has pro idea exceptional service in getting missing parts to me.
Alpha grill. I've had good grills before but this one is a cut above. The most notable part is that I have yet to find the hot spots...VERY even heat...highly recommended!
Digital numbers are hard to read in a full sun. I have problem to connect it with my phone. I will call them again.
