This grill has performed better than I expected. The sear zone is great! It quickly sears burgers, chicken, etc. perfectly.
Setup was easy though a couple of things could have been explained. There are yellow dots on some parts. If you align the dots on adjacent parts you have everything correct. I didn’t catch that at first and had to start over. Also something that explained which side of the grates is the top. I had to look that up online.
Gets nice and hot, but the burners are slow to light. The fatal flaw: you have to plug it in to see the temp gauge! Or use a battery pack (that I could never get to work) that's exposed to the elements. More tech than is necessary to simply grill a steak.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

You have the option of using a rechargeable power bank OR the power cord with your grill. The power bank should be USB-Certified and have a minimum of 10,000 mAh.
We understand that not everyone has access to an outdoor outlet and we want to include all of our grillers!

I love the grill. It cooks very well and is easy to control. I do wish that the instructions for the igrill feature were more complete and easier to follow.
This is there third Weber Grill over a 40 year period and each had been better than the last. The electronics are great and slow you too visit with guest without neglecting your grilling. I would have preferred two probes instead of the one provided considering the price.
The grill is great, but I’m very disappointed that the stainless steel is not very stainless. I got a grill cover just to keep my new purchase looking new, but it may be making things worse. I’ve used stainless steel cleaner to no avail.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Some stainless steel cleaners work better than others on our outdoor appliances. We recommend Bar Keeper's Friend to remove baked-on grease as seen in your photos.

We needed a natural gas grill for our new home and this is our 3rd Weber. We decided to purchase this grill due to the smart grill feature. My wife prefers medium well and I like rare to mid rare and thought this would be perfect to help me get it right. The grill is very solid and well made. We put it together and the 3D instructional app made it a breeze to install. I gave 4 stars instead of five because I learned after purchase that the grill only comes with one meat probe instead of the two required for us. I feel a grill at this price should have included two. Also the smart cooking app could use better instructions since I did not find it to be intuitive. I was making burgers and the drop down only offered well done as option. Probably user error but I could not figure out. Will need to do more research.
