One of the most versatile and functional grills I have ever owned. I have a Summit grill at another place which I love but this exceeds the functionality of that. I have the griddle, rotisserie and Pizza stone inserts which are all outstanding.
The old saying you get what you pay for absolutely applies to this Weber Genesis grill, the versatility is outstanding. Having the sear grate and the marks it leaves on my steaks, just makes me happy! And having the ability to convert to a griddle is a game changer! I have owned several grills throughout the years. This is by far the best. Well done Weber!
New isn’t better. The EX335 is a bit larger however it’s difficult to control the temperature on this new version. Also- the electronics, sensor probes and the app are not easy to use and not trustworthy- have to use a hand held thermometer to make sure food is cooked. Save your money and get a base model with a thermometer in the cover and you’ll be better off
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

From instant start to superb temperature control, immediate digital notification of internal temperature to superior design for cleaning and maintenance, phone app monitoring for cookong times and practical recipes that bring the good cook to superior levels. This is truly in All-Star in the grilling game.
Assembling the grill was made easier by placing all the parts separately on the floor, you will need a LOT of space for this. It took about 2.5 hours with the help of my teenage child. The instructions cover multiple models, so there was some confusion when a particular step covered different instructions based on the model and/or upgrades your grill came with. That said, I've used it 2-3 times a week for about two months now. Outside of standard burgers and steaks, I made a pork roast using the Weber Connect temp probes and it came out perfect. Yesterday I made pizzas on a 16 x 16 steel that I already owned and again had great results. Haven't owned a grill in about 20 years and I'm still learning about the different ways to use this, but the continued, consistent results I am getting are making it easier and easier to find new ways to use it.
