Wifi unnecessary

Of all the things that DO NOT need wifi it's a barbecue, no mention that it has to stay plugged into an ac outlet. All I want is cooked food and all I hear my wife say is "The wifi doesn't work!" Other than that it's a nice barbecue. Installation took a while but there were no hiccups. Take my advice, get the analog thermometer and a separate food monitor.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Looked at several gas grills and thought this served all our needs. Easy to use. Great at maintaining temperature. Weber is just the best. I have a weber performer that I use all the time. But this gas grill is great for everyday cooking after work.

Best grill I have ever owned. I wish I would have upgraded a long time ago. I love using the smart features including the recipes on the app. Everything I have cooked so far has turned out perfectly, especially steaks. I purchased the full sized griddle and seasoned this weekend. I can’t wait to cook up some big breakfasts on it next.

I received my grill and starting putting it together on 7/17. One piece came damaged. I called Customer Service and was informed they would not make anymore until 8/8. I am still waiting on the part with the grill partial together and all over my sunroom.

The new Weber SX feels like the gas grill, reinvented. I had a Weber Genesis enamel grill before and this one is so much better - ignitors for every burner, stainless steel grid, new burners that distribute heat more evenly, and the attached meat thermometer that tells you in real time when the chicken/steak/chop is at perfect temperature. Well worth the extra money.

I'm disappointed. It's hard to control the temperature. I think parts are missing and now after less than a month the hood does not lift properly and there may be a part that is either missing or fell off.

Extremely happy with my new Genesis Smart Grill.

I wanted to replace a 15 year old Weber Summit grill and decided to try a Genesis SX-335 Smart Grill. The Genesis Smart Grill has performed far above my expectations. The heat range is incredible, the grill surface may be smaller it has more depth and actually accommodates meat cuts like fajitas better. I cooked on the grill several times and set up the temperature bluetooth yesterday evening…WOW, setting it up was incredibly easy and I’m sure it will be used frequently and will be very useful.
