This grill gets HOT and does an amazing job of putting a sear on steaks and chops! The electronic probe and temperature gauge attached to the app on my phone takes all the guess work out of whether the steak is medium rare or medium; so far it has worked perfectly.
I had to replace my old Weber Genesis Silver after 20+ years. This grill has exceeded my expectations. The blue tooth and temperature probe are amazing. I no longer have to stand by the grill. Well worth the investment. Hope this grill last as long as my last.
This grill was purchased to replace a previous Genesis grill which worked fine and was given to our daughter. The main reason for this purchase was the addition of the sear burner. The grill works very well and the sear burner makes the steaks rival any good steak house. Heat control is very good with the exception of the side burner which is too hot. This is dealt with with a flame tamer. The grill went together without a problem. The only issue was with the stainless steel side shelves. During production, the surfaces were scratched along the cut lines for the protective plastic. This mars an otherwise beautiful surface. Would I buy this grill again? Absolutely.

We apologize for the disappointing marks on your side tables. It is possible that some residue from the laser-cutting process is to blame for the "scratch" marks/. The residue can be cleared with adhesive remover or 90% isopropyl rubbing alcohol.

It broke after using twice. Gas is leaking form somewhere and flame keeps going out.

I bought my new grill in December 2022 to replace my 20+ year old Weber LP-1000. Assembly was easy and my questions were quickly answered by customer support. It is very well built, sturdy and looks like it will last a long time.
Then came the problem. I bought the specified rotisserie and the bracket was not correct for this grill, so the rod did not line up with the motor. I contacted customer support and they worked with me until they had a bracket that was just perfect. I am now 100% satisfied with the grill and rotisserie.
I still deduct 1/2 star because the 'smart kitchen' has some design flaws, but I really don't use or miss those functions.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Good grill / quality control horrible with defects

Grill came with a defective cook box that would let lid close, replacement box came under warranty but requires complete disassembly and removal of burns and gas pipes and all electronics that were previously pre installed. Also missing magnets for doors. Quality control sucks.

It is obvious the quality level has dropped over the years, very disappointing. Parts were missing and packaging was cheap. When I opened my first Weber in the 90s you knew you were opening a high end product the quality was excellentand and the book that came with them was great. Not this time, it seems and feels its cheaply made, not much different than the low level competitors, I doubt I'll get 5 years out of this one. My first weber is 26 years old and still working great. So sad.
