Great product however they should always add the built in thermometer on the cover even in models with electronic screens that show the temperature. Sometimes it’s not possible to plug it to the outlet and/or in the event the battery is dead
The regulator went bad after 1 use of the grill, literally ONE use. Looked online, apparently this is a wide spread issue. Please address, Weber.

"Smart" weber is actually exceptionally dumb. To use it, plug it in *constantly* or buy a battery pack which lasts - count them - 9 whole hours before needing recharged. (Because, I suspect, when you turn the BBQ off, it doesn't really go off). No big analog thermometer, so you *must* use the electronic one, which is usually dead. Don't but this. Get one of the old-fashioned and vastly superior Webers instead.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As a family we have always enjoyed back yard grilling but frequently have to stop during the spring and fall due to the cold weather. However this grill makes it possible to enjoy year round without standing there freezing.
First off assembly took my husband and I about 2 hours. Part of that may have been due to the cold weather. The instructions are detailed and easy to follow. The little clips however can be fragile, be sure to handle with care. Once it was assembled we got right to grilling.
For the steak the searing zone was incredibly helpful. It came out perfectly medium rare as desired and no burned spots or random flares of the flames. Just clean cooking.
The chicken came out so juicy and tender yet perfectly done. I could not believe it was grilled. Having the smart app plus the temperature monitoring told us exactly when to flip the meat, how many minutes left and we could monitor it all from inside.
I love that it can be powered via a battery pack in case I want to take the grill somewhere without a plug in. The side burner is also a favorite feature. I can boil water for corn on the cob right there with its own temperature control.
Over all this grill is my favorite we have ever had, I can never go back to the old kind. The tools store in the side and the tank is kept clean and dry in the cabinet with magnetic door.
This is a great grill. Buy far the best propane grill I have cooked on. After 18 years with my last Webber grill it was time for an up grade. Yes old faithful is still going strong as well now at a friends house it still lights first or second push. That old Webber is 18-19 years old been out side in new England weather never has had a cover on it. I did replace the drip flame cover grates a time or 2 but that’s it Webber has amazed me. So of course I went with Webber again and so far this grill has performed as I would have expected. Here is the good this grill gets amazing hot the temps can hit as high as 750f so pizza not a problem. Also nothing has stuck to grates so far that’s been great. The only con I could say and it is probably more me and my OCD is it does seem to get dirty fast. I wipe down and clean after using. It is probably more my fault as there is definitely a learning curve because of how hot the grill can get. But when searing steaks it’s amazing just don’t walk away. Now what I do is heat up hot as I can with lid closed and with steaks I cook 2-3 mins lid down then flip 2-3 mins after that I open cover maybe a min to cool it down some and turn knobs to medium. I then slid steaks to the left out of sear zone to finish cooking another 2-3 mins a side and it’s a perfect medium every time now. I did mess up the first few times and over cooked them because of the temps get so high and treated it like my old grill. Like I said there is a small learning curve like any thing I guess. So far I am a month into cooking on it. I probably have 15-20 cooks. Mostly steaks and burgers. I have done pork loin and also chicken breast. I am getting very good on it now that I have time using it. I have not regretted my purchase at all and this grill is covered and kept in shed. I just roll it out to use no way would I recommend not covering this one like the last one mainly because it’s smart grill and has some kind of computer board under it. So make sure u cover it at minimum. Thanks Webber you did it right again amazing product. I would have given it a 5 star but the way I think is a 5 star means it’s perfect and nothing could be done better I personally fell nothing is perfect so I went with a 4 as I always do with great products most people I would think would have given a 5 star. I am hoping to get atleast half the time out of this one as I did with my old 3 burner Webber that provided 18-19 years of joy. I definitely Love this new grill and a matter of fact it is steaks tonight and of course they be inch and a half Ribeyes. Can’t go wrong just don’t walk away. THANKS AGAIN WEBBER.
Beautiful Grill and solidly built as only a Weber Grill is. My only disappointment is the lack of any analog temperature display so it must always be plugged in.
Great grill except for one thing- you provide magnetic catches, but the doors are stainless steel and won’t stay closed. Pretty disappointed to pay that much money for a grill and have to keep the doors closed with a bungee cord. Will be willing to revise my star rating if you have a solution and it doesn’t take too long to solve.
