The grill is expensive but is beautifully designed. I've been very pleasantly surprised how well it cooks and how easy it is to regulate temperature in the grill. We're in a condo that prohibits gas grills on decks so this was an ideal solution. Two things to be wary of: When I first started it, I got an error code. Simply removing and reinserting the control panel resolved that. Next the grill tripped our ground fault breaker. I discovered that turning on one of the two elements would not trip the breaker so I let it heat up to 300+ degrees and after a short while, turned that burner off and turned the other one on for a while keeping grill at 300+ degrees. Since doing that, no problems with ground faults at all with both burners running.

I’ve owned my pulse for 3 years now and it’s amazing! Works basically as good as my propane grill. Bought a coop and could only have an electric grill. Was worried I would not be able to make 1 1/2 inch ribeyes but this grill warms up to 600 so plenty of heat to sear the steaks!! The king and the short is that this grill is worth every penny!!

I have had my grill for over 1 month and have not been able to use it. A part was broken on receipt of the grill and the part has been waiting to ship for over 1 month. Lost significant respect for the company

This is a perfect grill for apartment balconies that prohibit open flame grills. We also bought another one (with stand) for our island house on Roatan because propane tanks are not as easily available as in the US.
The app works as described, keeping us accurately informed of the grill temp and the probe temps.
We’re still experimenting with it, but so far no complaints - just full bellies.

I have had this grill over a month and it still does not work. The grill will start but after about 30 seconds it trips the GFI circuit. A new, higher current, dedicated circuit did not cure the problem. A new heating element and controller did not cure the problem. Very frustrating. I previously had a Q140 that worked perfectly for many years. Very disappointed.
