Our Condo Association recently banned Gas Grills. Being a long time Weber customer I looked there first. After grilling 3 T-Bone stakes I can safely report that there is a slight difference.
I was a little skeptical about the electric grill at first. The purchase was prompted by our insurance provider’s decision to cancel coverage for anyone with open flame appliances ( gas grills). I have to say that I’ve been pleasantly surprised. The grill has preformed well on steaks, chicken and kabobs. It heats up quickly and holds temperatures precisely. That it does this from a 110 volt outlet is remarkable. Very pleased!

Weber had trouble sourcing the part I needed under warranty for my Pulse 2000 so they sent me a brand new grill. Talk about great C/S.

Love the Pulse 2000, but no griddle accessary is available
The fire protection rules of my building forced me to buy an electric grill. All doubts in this technology have been confirmed!!! It does not heat up as a charcoal or a gas grill and the result is at best ok but not great. The technology to make every receipt a success is not very reliable and as the lid has to be closed at all times (see above heating issue) it is difficult to measure the progress.
