This is my 3 Weber grill and glad I bought this one.. I bought the flat top and sear grill inserts so I’m all set. So far the grill has exceeded my expectations.
I have been a Weber Grill fans for a few decades. After retiring I decided to upgrade to the 4 burner (with sear plate) and the full sized griddle. I am extremely pleased with my purchase. When entertaining the grill has become a magnet for our guests. It’s is beautifully designed and everyone wants to watch especially when I use the full size griddle. I tried smash burgers the other night and everyone came back for seconds. I was a little intimidated by the sear zone but I watched a couple of You Tube videos to get some suggestions. I had purchased several very expensive cuts of rib eyes and I wanted to ensure the meat was cooked properly. All the steaks came out with those perfect sear marks and they were delicious. My son who is a fan of high end steak house loudly announced it was the best steak he ever had. No leftovers!!!!
Have only used this grill half-dozen times, but I'm very impressed. It feels smooth and solid. Everything works as intended. It gets HOT in a hurry and maintains the heat very well. Compared to the Weber Summit propane grill that I had for over (15) years, this works much better. And the Summit was GREAT! The convenience of natural gas vs. propane is huge. Assembly wasn't too bad, considering that I had to do it by myself. Used the BILT app that was recommended and it was very helpful in that it gave a different perspective of how things go together. Looking forward to many years of trouble-free use.

Ordered the S-435 from PC Richards in NJ on a Thursday. Loved its features, Quality and Reviews. Scheduled to be Delivered on Saturday. Waited all Day for it to be Delivered. Delivery Time Moving out Multiple Times - Until I knew it was not going to be delivered that day. At 9:55 PM - Truck called - we will be there in 10 minutes. Delivered in the Dark. Went to get a flashlight - as they carried to my New Expensive Grill to my deck. The Unit was delivered Filthy and with Dents. Was Not just assembled - since my Thursday Purchase. So why is this your problem. Are you Managing your Channels? That, in the End - Represent YOU. Still have a Grill Grate Component - I have NO idea - where it goes or how to use based on Your Product Documentation. Cleaned it up, ignored the Dents - Have used the Grill 4 times and Love it. Also purchased 2 of the connected App Product (one for Me, the other for my Brother-in-law). Have NOT yet have the opportunity to Use yet. Next Test - is the 4th of July - where Grill it will be used constantly for ~10 hrs straight! and will setup the Connected Product the Software App to Test on Omaha Filets!!.

I've always wanted a Weber, and I'm glad I went with the Genesis S-435. Cooking on this grill is a huge step up from the budget model I had from Home Depot—the quality is noticeable, and the food turns out significantly better.
That said, there are two minor drawbacks. First, the built-in propane gauge is far from accurate. Second, the stainless steel hood handle gets extremely hot when exposed to the sun, which could be a safety concern, especially for kids. Neither issue is a dealbreaker, but they're worth noting.
