Love my new grill. I enjoy grilling and probably use my grill once a week. I previously had a 3 burner Weber, but needed a bit more space for when I entertain. I cooked one of my specialities, beer can chicken, for friends recently and we all agreed it was the best beer can chicken I had made. I think the extra space in the grill and its evenness for indirect cooking made the difference. I never quite got the hang of the sear station on my old grill (10+ years old), but have found this one much easier to use and producing a perfect medium rare steak. Looking forward to trying out the griddle that I bought with it.
My new Genesis Grill is everything I was hoping for. Well built with quality materials but just as important, much more efficient than the grill I had previously. I find that the grill heats quickly and provides a good even distribution of heat giving perfect results every time.
Not a negative but HEAVY. Weak point is the bottom pin (hinge) of the two main doors. They are plastic and the wind caught one door and snapped the.pin. To Webers credit they sent me replacement.
Another great product from Weber! I love the new burner’s and it also has the Weber crafted grate. I think this is an improvement to my Summit. I use my grills/pellet smoker 3-4 days a week.
We love our Weber S-435 grill! It's the highest quality grill on the market. We use it almost every evening and every weekend. I highly recommend weber grills to anyone that takes pride in grilling perfectly cooked meals. I can't say enough good in this high quality and easy to use product!

I received this grill yesterday and am disappointed in the quality. My father has an older Genesis which is much sturdier than this. The lid on the new Genesis is much lighter giving it a slightly flimsy feeling. There are spots on the grill where during assembly the screws didn't line up well and it was like putting together a cheap table. The plastic knobs feel chinsy. One of the screw holes for the side burner is to big and it's not even a threaded hole, just a punch out in the steel for the screw to thread. The rivets on the extra storage door were loose leaving the hinge wobbly. There also are brackets missing for the propane.
All in all I wouldn't buy this again. All the things I mentioned are being covered under warranty but the feel of being cheaply made can't be covered. I'm going to attempt talking my father into letting me take his and send this piece of cheap garbage back.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
