Thermal Issues - Ports Fail After 90 Days

After about 90 days of use, the Lenovo USB-C docks go bad. They overheat, ports stop working, and Lenovo will not replace them after 30 days. We have switched to HP or Plugable docks (depending on office location) and have not only saved money but now have docks that will last longer than a calendar quarter.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought two of these docks, one works perfect but the other does not function at all. I have reached out to customer service and the guy just keeps having me download driver updates. We have tried this dock with mutiple Lenovo laptops that are considered supported devices. All our technology in our office is Lenovo and we have never returned any items. But the one time the device does not work at all, they have no interest in replacing the item.
