HDMI issues

Updated to latest firmware and it has been nothing but an annoying hassle. If the engineers can get the firmware issues nailed down and get the inputs to function properly then sure buy it but be ready for pain because this latest update I have nothing but trouble with it. HDMI monitor will not even come up if I switch inputs it just keeps saying no signal. I have to unplug the Thunderbolt connection and then plug it back in for my monitor to be recognized. The other way is multiple reboots in order to get the monitor to be detected... At 400 bucks you would expect a little bit better quality than this so far nothing but a disappointment. Do better lenovo these devices should allow for better connectivity not cause the users an endless supply of headaches.

Worked for 3 weeks then my thinkpad t14 gen 2i threw a battery charge error, now none of the external displays work. Terrible.

This is the worst dock I have ever owned most of the time.I have it unplugged and I have not figured out how it connects to the computer because everything that I plug into it Doesn't work properly. It came with the AC adapter, but I have to use that for the laptop because the laptop didn't come with an AC adapter. I don't understand where it's supposed to be connected to the laptop. The instructions are unclear. It was a total waste of money. I still have to call a Novo to figure out what to do about this.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
