I got this mixer mainly to mix cookie dough.. I have arthritis in my hands and shoulders and this mixer prevents a lot of discomfort , not to mention the much less time to mix the dough.

Sturdy, I also like the splash guard and the attachment that allows you to pour ingredients in without having to stop and restart.

It works great! I chose this because I did not want to pay extra for the high priced other brand. I have a Cuisinart Food Processor that is about 20 years old and it performs like when I first bought it so I trust the brand. I would definitely recommend this stand mixer!
