This is a great mixer! Everything we have used it for has turned out perfectly. The only difficulty we have is with the Cuisinart "logo" that covers the plug in for attachments. The magnets are not strong enough and it falls off easily.

There is an adjustment screw to set the whisk height, nowhere in the manual will you find that information. YouTube it, otherwise the factory setting will not mix properly...

It's a workhorse and my first EVER stand mixer. I GOOGLED all the appropriate websites to check for durability, cost, versatility and warrantee. Still, I admit, I ordered a Kitchenaid Mini for myself for Christmas but promptly returned it because the motor was only 250 Watts and I needed something stronger for denser recipes. THIS IS IT. Wow. 500 Watts, all the attachments AND the pour-shield. It's a dream-machine. I highly recommend.
