I had a Kitchen Aid Artisan and gave it to my Grandchild because I thought I was done needing it. I decided to make marshmallows and needed a stand mixer and did not want to spend that much again. I saw the reviews on this one and the price was much better than the one I had.
I am so happy with this mixer. I run this on high speed for 10-15 minute intervals several times within an hour time frame and it runs smoother than my other one.

While I do have pops and pans from Cuisinart (and totally happy with), this was the first power appliance I have tried from them. Purchased this unit over a Kitchenaid for several reasons. The price was considerably less, it has a longer warranty, more speeds and it has a more powerful motor. So far, it's been great! Sturdy construction, all the attachments I need with the option of add-ons. Attachments go on easily and feel solid once on. I wanted to be the guy that DOESN'T own a Kitchenaid Stand Mixer and still makes tasty things to eat. Now, if I could just nail down these Macarons...
