I was extremely disappointed In the mixer. We absolutely could not get the adjustment screw to move. My husband rebuilds sports cars and has every tool imaginable. NOTHING would convince the screw to move. Sadly it was my 81st birthday present. I wrote to Cuisinart and they didn’t seem to care. It was returned to Walmart…… all my other stuff is Cuisinart. Heartbroken.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

It is too heavy, and I do not like it that the bowl doesn't move while stirring and I either have to put the pour spout on or stop mixing lift up to pour in and seems since the bowl does not turn, I have to stop and scrape sides in.

Have been using this mixer for my home baked cakes. It works well but does not have much power. Overall is a good electric mixer for those who are learning to bake, like me!
