I recently switched from always buying a Kitchenaide mixer to this cuisinart. I got fed up with having to purchase Kitchenaide mixers every 3 years. They should last way longer than that. That’s a lot of expense for me! This cuisinart stand mixer…oh my gosh!!! It’s quiet! It mixes my homemade cake batters like a dream. They come out fluffy which just doesn’t happen when you’re using paleo ingredients. I wanted to cry I was so happy! It handles the task, it got all of the ingredients on the bottom and sides of the bowl incorporated. I’m NEVER going back to Kitchenaide. Cuisinart.,,,I LOVE YOU! ❤️❤️❤️

Absolutely love having this stand mixer and did a ton of research before buying this one. Better price than the brand everyone thinks of. Less weight but still has cast metal frame with more power. All other attachments work this this one. It’s beautiful and easy to use. I use mine daily. Easy to clean and slide back and forth under the cabinet when not in use. Absolutely recommend to anyone looking.

I bought this mixer in blushing coral. It's a chameleon color- pinkish under LED lighting and peach under natural lighting. The bowl is huge. Big enough for double batches. Yes, you have to stop the mixer and occasionally scrape the bowl. I expected this and its not a big deal. The motor doesn't struggle, even when mixing bread dough. It's weighty and feels like a quality built machine. Most of the stand mixers on the marketplace are made of plastic and need suction cups to keep them from traveling on the counter. No suction cups needed here! As a surprise, the booklet provided contains lots of recipes! I spent a little more money, but I'm happy I chose a Cuisinart over a plastic mixer!

I had a Kitchen aid that had gotten too heavy to lift for me….looking for something lighter and saw this on Amazon…loved the color and the price….and the weight was perfect…have used it more in two weeks than the Kitchen aid in 5 years…it doesn't jump around on the counter…does a great job. The thing I actually like best is the lock on the mixer arm ….very secure - the speeds are easy to use and go from one to another very smoothly….all in all very happy with my choice.

As the first machine I had was exchanged on warranty due to the motor overheating, this is the second mixer I have had. Sadly, it behaves much like the first. What I thought was a bad motor seems to simply be the way the machine is designed - unable to do what it is supposed to do for more than a few minutes at a time.
Mixing a basic bread dough should be simple enough, 2 cups of water and 6 cups of flour, but this thing has the hardest time with it. Once the dough begins to bind together, the mixer begins struggling, and struggling hard. I can watch it get bound by the dough nearly each rotation, and I only have the setting on 3, the lowest of the settings for bread advised in the manual. The motor then begins overheating and risking a shutdown.
I have yet to attempt anything else, like cookies or cakes, as I generally only bake bread. Perhaps it works better with things like those but I find it difficult to believe if it overheats with something as simple as bread dough after just 5 minutes of mixing.

I am disappointed in the way this stand mixer performs. The paddle attachment does not touch the bottom of the bowl, thus ingredients under it never get incorporated into the recipe!! I have looked into a paddle with a scraper edge ( I believe this would correct the problem) but turns out Cuisinart is the ONLY manufacturer that does not offer this attachment! Unfortunately, I don't enjoy using the stand mixer I thought was going to make my baking experiences so much easier.

I have not used a stand mixer since my mother’s ancient Sunbeam. I got by with a progression of Cuisinart hand mixers, but recently decided to make more of my own staples like focaccia, dog treats, and cookies to keep in the freezer and pulled out one by one so I can avoid the seed oils and additives to packaged foods. (Even the bakery uses canola oil instead of olive oil in their bread!) This big boy gets the job done with less mess and less work. Next I want to try the fruit sorbet attachment.
