I've never used a stand mixer before. I made a loaf of bread and a cake with my mixer yesterday and I had thought it would be better than a hand mixer it wasn't. When pouring out the batter into the pan after 3 minutes on level 3 speed there was still a large amount of powder that hadn't mixed into the batter. The bread, rustic Italian Bread, used your recipe did mix well and formed a ball as it should have. But cake mix did not do as well. I'm not sure why.

Unable to use because the height of the mixers different attachments is about 1/2 inch above the bottom of the mixing bowl and adjustment screw is so tight you cannot adjust the height so the ingredients do not mix thoroughly.

I am in my 60's and this is the first stand mixer I have owned. I absolutely love it! So far, everything I have used it for, it works great! My husband says it makes the best mashed potatoes he's had! Also a great value.

I've used it to make yeast dough for cinnamon rolls and cheese filled bread sticks, to mix up double batches of cookie dough, and to make the fluffiest mashed potatoes ever.
