Nice looking mixer with the necessary power that I need for my hobby baking at a reasonable price. I just wish there more attachments for it. I would love to be able to get a flex edge paddle for this brand and model.

The mixer works very well for me and reminds me of times gone bye as i used to have one like it many years ago but switched to another brand with so called better features. This mixer fits my counter space and all my needs for a stand mixer.

As the first machine I had was exchanged on warranty due to the motor overheating, this is the second mixer I have had. Sadly, it behaves much like the first. What I thought was a bad motor seems to simply be the way the machine is designed - unable to do what it is supposed to do for more than a few minutes at a time.
Mixing a basic bread dough should be simple enough, 2 cups of water and 6 cups of flour, but this thing has the hardest time with it. Once the dough begins to bind together, the mixer begins struggling, and struggling hard. I can watch it get bound by the dough nearly each rotation, and I only have the setting on 3, the lowest of the settings for bread advised in the manual. The motor then begins overheating and risking a shutdown.
I have yet to attempt anything else, like cookies or cakes, as I generally only bake bread. Perhaps it works better with things like those but I find it difficult to believe if it overheats with something as simple as bread dough after just 5 minutes of mixing.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

My wife uses the wire whisk in making “divinity candy” Syrup is an ingredient.
The whisks does not scrap the insides of the bowl leaving a 1/16 inch of syrup that needs to combine with the other ingredients. Other than that problem, it is a perfect mixer!!!

This product makes baking so much more fun. As a person who finds baking not only relaxing but in some ways therapeutic, this mixer change my life. It easy too use and clean up is a breeze. I was surprised how quiet it is as well as how strong the motor is handling anything I throw at it without a problem.

I bought this mostly to knead bread. It does jump around a little, the top bounces which I do not like but overall I am very pleased with it. I do not use the splash guard which would help with the next issue I have as you do not have room to add or scrape the bowl while it is running. You have to turn it off and lift the beaters.
