This is a fantastic mixer. It is heavy duty but not too large. It has a large mixing bowl. Also the cord is very long which is great. It gets the contents at the bottom of the bowl. Makes dough like a champ.

This is an amazing kitchen helper. I make bread and no longer have to knead it because the dough hook does all the work, I make pancakes and the paddle does all the mixing. I love this machine and wonder how I did without it all these years.

Good power, good quality of parts. Problem with attachments not getting close enough to the side or bottom of the bowl. Have to stop and scrape to get a good mix. Moved the adjustment screw to get the beaters closer to the bottom, but only moved a little. Screw stopped turning after one revolution. Customer service would not answer question about how much adjustment was available. If they would make a scraper paddle like the competition it would be much better.

Amazing quality machine! I'm 54 and have been mixing everything by hand for decades. My bread dough game got a big boost with this purchase! I'm more than likely going to get the ice cream attachments for it as well. This machine (5.5qt) is an awesome option compared to the others costing much more!

It's a nice mixer for the occasional user, somebody who is only going to use it a few times a month to make relatively light batters like cakes and such. If you plan on using it for heavier dishes like multiple loaves of bread this may not be the mixer for you. It frequently gets hot enough to shut itself down if making a batch of bread that calls for anymore than three cups of flour and more than five or six minutes of kneading time. I've never made anything like whipped cream or a meringue but it does seem more than adequate enough for those. when it comes to kneading bread though it is not at all what I would call sturdy or effective. One time just to see how effective it was at kneading I dripped a few drops of food color into the dough and it never seemed to really incorporate after more than 8 minutes. For small tasks or infrequent use this is a fine product, but if you're looking for a more heavy duty kitchen appliance you might want to look further.

Not as heavy as a Kitchen Aid. I was able to release the beater without too much difficulty. I miss my old mixer because the bowl rotated. To my knowledge, none of the newer model mixers have that feature which is a pity. I’ll have to adjust. Probably a safety feature. Who knows.
