So far ...so good. I have only used it twice. I do have to stop mixing & take a spatula to get the very bottom & sides of the mixing bowl...then return to mixing again. Its heavy, but that is to be expected. The eggplant color is so pretty. I will update when I have used it more frequently.

So far, this mixer has performed adequately. I don't like that i have to stop mixing, to manually scrape the sides of the bowl. I feel too much of the wet ingredients get "thrown" to the wall of the bowl. I did find out there is a built in attachment to grind meat or make pasta.

Have made several things and very pleased. I have had a 2 beater Sunbeam all my life and this far outshines the Sunbeam. It mixes very well and from the reviews I read before buying, the biggest complaint was it doesn’t mix up the bottom. I have not had that problem. I don’t think u should mess with the screw several people talked about. There is no mention in the book about it. The machine is about as loud as my old Sunbeam which is not obnoxiously loud. I chose this Cuisinart over a KitchenAid, because KitchenAid is too heavy and Cuisinart is a reliable brand.
