Blender works fine. My only complain is it doesn't sit level on my counter. It wobbles from side to side. I checked underneath and it has all the little rubber pieces that are suppose to keep it level. But it just won't seat level. It not only wobbles when its running. You can move it with your hands from side to side and the back side of it slides around.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

New purchase to replace an old stand mixer that lacked power and modern features. Look forward to using it. Unit is heavy, so unless you can keep it on the counter, recommend storing in a lower level cabinet/shelf. Cuisinart PLEASE consider offering a flexible (rubber- sided) blade beater for use with this model.

I was so excited when I got my new mixer! It works great and a wonderful value for the price! Periodically have to stop and scrape down the sides, but no big deal. Very happy and pleased with this product.

So far I love it! It's holding up good and I've made Italian bread, pizza dough, banana bread, a chocolate roll and a few other yummy things as well! I keeping finding things I need/want to make just so I can use my mixer! The attachments aren't as sturdy as the Kitchen Aid mixer I use to have, but this definitley does the job!
