This is a beautiful mixer but I hated it. It doesn't mix the bottom ingredients or the side. I had to do most of the work which is not what I wanted to do. I purchased this after replacing my 17 year old kitchen aid stand mixer which still works great but is to small. I had to return the Cuisinart Stand Mixer.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This is a great piece of kitchen equipment. I love that it is more light weight than my previous Kitchen Aide Stand Mixer, since I have to pull it in and out of my cabinet. The first thing I made was pizza dough, and it mixed the dough in 2 minutes! Next thing I made was a whipped cream frosting for an ice cream cake. Normally whipped cream takes several minutes (up to 10 min.) to come together; with my new Cuisinart it took literally 2.5 minutes and done! Great job - very happy with my purchase.

First stand mixer. Really like it so far. The onky thing that concerned me is when i tried to mix bread. The head of the mixer was banging up and down, when it mixing blade hit the dough. Looked online, but onky seen the Whirpool mixer having the same issue. Tried the same fix, but didnt work.

So far, it's been a very good machine to use. We like to make breads and desserts and this unit has done an admirable job doing so. We have yet to test the grinder we purchased with the unit but believe it will be just as useful and functional. A great product.
