I debated over this or another more popular, more expensive brand. I am so happy I decided to go with this one! Not only is the color aestheticly pleasing, it has more speeds than my old K-aid and is much more quiet. I bake at least three times a week and couldn’t be happier with my purchase!

I've used this mixer to mix cake batter and to whip heavy whipping cream. It did a great job with both, especially the heavy cream. I did so and scrape down the bowl once with the cake batter, but I had to do that with my KitchenAid mixer. I sold that mixer after owning it many many years because it weighed 24 pounds and I'm now in my 70's. So far I am very happy with my Cuisinart.
