Fantastic replacement for my former brand. Used it again last night! It powered through the 5.5 cups of flour to perfectly kneed the bread dough with minimal signs of trouble.
The motor got a little warm, with the 9-minute kneeling time, but did just fine. I love this mixer, and am eager to start buying attachments ASAP! Thrilled with this wise purchase!

This mixer is so easy to use and makes the job go so much faster. It mixes everything thoroughly and I like the splatterguard. I thoroughly enjoy using this mixer. Thank you Cuisinart! You get so much for the price. I am not an employee of the company. Just a Senior citizen that wanted a mixer that was easy to use.

This new Precision Master is more powerful and compact that the KitchAid 5qt Pro I sold to get this one. It does everything I need it too......including being great bread kneading machine

Everything is good except the noise under the hood. It's giving me enough anxiety I can only give it 3 stars. Is this common with this model? Or do I have an emanate disaster on my hands? There is a random clicking, knocking and clanking sound coming from the top of the machine. From what sounds like the worm drive. Like there is a lose arm attached to the drive. Its random, it comes and goes. No mater the speed, attachment, or substrate in the mixing bowl. Anybody else? Or is this just a common sound with this machine?

There is much to love about this mixer, but ease of adding items while it running - be it eggs, flour, water, whatever - without stopping the mixer to raise the beater for clear access is difficult. And the "rim/spout" attachment is not very helpful. But other than that, I like the power, the fact that it lights up when it starts up so you can clearly see what setting you are on, and the stability. It kneads bread with ease and doesn't bounce.

Always wanted a stand mixer and leaned toward KitchenAid. However, after researching KitchenAid vs. Cusinart, the Cusinart 5.5 Quart Stand Mixer was the runaway winner. Not only was it considerably less expensive, but has a three year warranty as compared to one year. My use, so far, has been confined to bread dough, by I must say I’m thoroughly pleased with my purchase.

Have used my mixer several times since getting it for Christmas and absolutely love it. It handles all the different batters and doughs I have tried. I feel this is as good or better than the expensive name brand (you know which one!). The only down side I see is that Cuisinart doesn't offer multiple attachments or different style bowls for their mixer. That would be the only recommendation I would make to the manufacturer. I would highly recommend this mixer to any cook or baker out there, you will not be disappointed.
