perfect highchair

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing me with this high chair. I got it at a time when my 12 mnth old was starting to climb out of his highchair, and the 5 point harness which my old one didn't have was desperately needed! I love how it is so sleek and simple looking while having every feature you might need! the adjustable height is great and the reclining feature makes it so convenient. My two favorite parts are firstly, how easy it is to clean- literally wipes down perfectly! and secondly, the one handed tray feature! I slide the tray front/back/on/off soooo effortlessly!!!

Excellent high chair and toddler seat

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We are currently expecting our second kid, and were just starting to plan our registry when I was given the opportunity to test this high chair as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel. We are planning to use it with the new baby primarily, but we were excited to set it up as soon as it arrived, and my three-year-old was very excited and eager to help test it out!
Set-up did require a screwdriver, but was straightforward and only took a few minutes. I was really impressed by how sturdy the whole thing is...The base is wide and surprisingly heavy, and the plastic seat is very thick and sturdy. I really like that the seat reclines for infants, and I am looking forward to being able to have the baby join us at the table (or nearby while I cook) before she sits up on her own.
So far, we have mostly tested this as a toddler seat. Removing the harness and crotch post was a little fiddly, but fortunately this is not something we'll need to do very frequently. My kid and I loved this as a toddler seat. He could climb into it himself and the seat did not seem tippy or wobbly at all. Adjusting the height is super-simple, and the movement is smooth and feels very high-quality.
I like that the tray is removable, but my son really liked using the tray (to pretend he's a baby!). I love that it's magnetic and very easy to click on and off the seat. It's also very easy to clean (as was the entire seat). The only issue we ran across was that a couple times it would click into place incompletely, somehow, and stay in place (so I thought it was fully attached) but would fall off if my son banged on it. Once this happened the second time, I got into the habit of jiggling it before I took my hand away to make sure it was attached all the way. It was an easy problem to solve, but is something to be aware of.
We had to put this seat away after a couple weeks because we want to use it with the new baby (for the reclining seat) when she arrives, and were worried my son would have trouble giving it up. The seat doesn't fold up at all, so I wouldn't recommend this seat for frequent storage or travelling. We just separated the seat and base (screwdriver required) to save a little space while we wait for baby.
My favorite thing about the 4moms connect high chair is the quality and sturdiness...I have no doubt that this will last well through the toddler stage for our little one, and still have plenty of life left in it for future nieces and nephews.

versatile compact high chair

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We were ready for a new high chair and were excited to get the 4moms connect high chair. We have a 16 month old and a 3 year old and both were happy to try out the high chair. A big unexpected plus was that while the high chair is sturdy and with a nice sized tray, the actually space it take up in the room is pretty minimal compared to every other high chair I have used. Our home is cozy so this is a great plus.
The high chair has a sleek neutral look and would fit in well with most any style. The tray and chair are very easy to wipe clean, and the tray has a top piece that can be easily washed. The chair has a dense grey rubber or foam that is comfortable for the child while also very easy to clean and durable. We also like how easy it is to take the tray off and put in on with one hand. The tray is guided into place with magnets and can be adjusted in how close it sits to the child with one hand as well.
The straps are easy to adjust and can be worn just as a lap belt or with both lap and shoulder straps. I have been very impressed with how versatile the chair is. Our three year old is able to sit comfortably in the seat and the seat can be used at the table without the tray as a tall chair. One thing that I really like about this is that you can adjust the hight of the chair to actually be pushed up to the table so your toddler can eat directly at the table without the tray. You can also tilt the chair back if you were having a smaller infant near the table.
The couple of things that would be nice, that the chair doesn't have, would be for the tray to pull out and have the option of staying attached so that I don't have to find a place to set it as I put the child in and out of the high chair. Also if the chair had a way to fold or come apart quickly to be stored when you want a little more space, but realistically our old high chair folded but we rarely put it away, and this chair is more compact, not taking up too much space in the room.
We were very excited to receive this high chair to try through the Stellar Product Testing Panel.

Great Easy to Use Minimalist Design

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This high chair has been the BEST upgrade for our kitchen. We used to have a BIG 3-in-1 high chair that took up half of the kitchen. This 4moms high chair is PERFECT - it has a minimalist aesthetic, a small footprint, and is SO easy-to-use. We've used it with our 6 month old as she's started solids and it has been a super smooth transition. The one-hand tray is an amazing convenience, the seat is easy to get in and out of, and she's right up at the table with all of us for meals. I also know this chair will grow with her, and we'll never need anything else. Thank you to Stellar Product Testing Panel for allowing me to test this product.

Great high chair

One of the best things about this chair is how easy it is to clean. And the design and color go with most home decor, if not all. Great for babies and young toddlers but not older

The lack of step to climb in or out is very much problematic for us. He's used to being very independent and typically doesn't use straps. In this case getting on the chair requires adult help help and him trying to hop off when he's done eating could be scary especially since he didn't like using the tray but wants to sit with the others at the table.
While on his feet dangle very annoyingly and he is not very comfortable.
My 5 year old of course wanted to try and he lasted about one minute before yielding back to the younger never looking back.

That being said, the quality is great and all the features make me regret not having it when my kids were babies. The tray is so much easier to remove and clean than anything else i had so far. Some relative with a newborn tried it and really loved the newborn recline and easy to adjust straps. baby seemed very cosy and happy to be in the heart of the action.
Overall it's a nice chair but design with younger kids in mind.

Easy to use and clean

This high chair was incredibly easy to assemble. It has been so convenient and easy to use. The tray is simple to lock in place or remove one handedly. The 5-point harness style straps keep my kiddo safely seated while they're in the chair. My favorite thing is how simple it is to keep this chair clean! Everything can be easily wiped clean and I have not noticed any staining, even from berries and tomato sauce. We are currently using the 2nd stage but I love that there is a recline option for younger babes so they can be a part of family mealtime even before they're eating solids. This chair was gifted to our family but I would absolutely recommend it.

Unexpectedly Amazing

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We received the 4 moms high chair through the stellar testing panel, and at first I was dubious as to whether we would really like it. We live in an old farmhouse and gravitate towards more traditional looking furniture and decor, so the sleek and modern style of the high chair did not immediately speak to me.
However, the design and features of the chair won me over pretty easily! Our 18 month old loves the chair, and it is very easy to get him in and out. However, it is a little tight to buckle him with the crotch post in place, we ended up removing it and easily solved that issue. The absolute best part of this chair is the ability to transition it from a stand alone high chair to the actual table. So, so great! He loves eating with us at the table and we don’t have to mess around with strapping a booster to our dining chairs, which inevitably get dirty anyway, he has his own chair which is easy to clean and easy to use. I love this chair and will recommend it to everyone! Totally worth every penny!
