Solid and Sleek

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received the 4moms connect high chair through the Stellar Product Testing Panel and overall I was very pleased. My son is currently 18 months old and spends a lot of time eating in his high chair. It was super easy to put together; took me less than 10 minutes. Once it was built I immediately put my som in it for dinner. The one handed tray connect made it super simple to ge them both in and out. I very much liked that the guard that keeps him from slipping out of the chair was attached to the chair and not the tray. Our current one has it attached to the tray which is problematic when getting him out and in as he can sometimes wiggle around too much that I feel he is unsafe, even for the few seconds it takes me to put down the tray and get him out. It is a very sleek design that goes well in my kitchen area and is super easy to clean which is a huge win for me. The only drawback I see is the recline. Even at its most upright position it still feels like my son is leaning back a little too much for his comfort. We have continued to use it as we like everything else about it. It is overall a really great product I would highly recommend.

Long Term Utility
on October 30, 2021

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used this 4moms high chair for my two year old and my four year old. The ability to easily remove the crotch post and harness straps also made deep cleaning easier as well, as food tends to collect around and on them after a while. Set up was pretty straightforward, I was able to do it by myself with just a screwdriver. I really appreciated the addition of the reclining seat and height adjustment. This makes the high chair usable for a much longer period, which makes it a much better value in my opinion. It is also easy to clean, I’m not a fan of hard to remove pads that need to go through the wash, and the removable foam seat pad adds comfort that can be wiped down really quickly.
I am ambivalent towards the one handed tray, as I don’t usually remove high chair trays on a regular basis and instead prefer to slip child in and out with it on. That being said the tray liner was nice for cleaning up in the sink as opposed to trying to spray down a bulky one piece tray.
Overall I think the 4moms high chair is a great option for those who like it’s more modern and clean styling. It doesn’t have as many bells and whistles as some other chairs, but can be adjusted to seat a wider age range unlike more simplistic ones that often require additional accessories. The foot print is on the smaller side as well so it replaces a standard dining chair fairly easily. It’s a great option for someone looking for a chair with longer utility but not a ton of extra pieces to work around. Thank you Stellar Product Testing Panel for letting me try this chair out in return for my honest feedback.

Easy to Clean and minimalistic
on October 31, 2021

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was so excited to receive the 4moms Connect high chair to review from the Stellar Product Testing Panel. We tried it out with our 3 and 1 year olds, and our 5 yo tried it out for fun as well.
Pros:
*Tray is easy to remove and put on (though I did have to explain the mechanism to some guests of ours)
*Tray and seat are very easy to clean. (We also love the removable liner.)
*Minimalistic style helps it blend in anywhere.
Cons:
*It looks like the "step" feature was removed. This makes it more difficult to use at different ages and stages, as kids cannot as easily climb in. It also means there's no footrest, which isn't ergonomically recommended. I noticed the lack mostly by my bigger kids. The 1 year old seemed pretty comfortable.
*This high chair doesn't fold, which means it will be difficult to store when we no longer need it for our youngest. This also detracts from the "minimalistic" style.
Overall, I like the high chair, and will continue to use it for its functionality, but I think the lack of footrest/step will make it harder to use for older kids, and the inability to fold might not make it practical for some.

Great high chair

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was given this high chair to try as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel. This high chair was fairly easy to assemble. We used this high chair for our 2yr old and a friends infant when they visit. It takes just seconds to adjust it to seat an infant. I love there is no fabric covering, making it convenient to clean after feedings. The adjustable tray is simple to remove with one hand and wash at the sink or place in the dishwasher. It’s pretty sturdy as the legs/base is metal and it’s not large and bulky taking up space in my dining room. Would definitely recommend this hair chair to friends!

Stylish grow with me highchair
on October 31, 2021

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was given this highchair to try as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel and was so excited because mealtimes have recently been a struggle in my household. My younger son is 18 months old and is an escape artist and climber and his current chair was not working great to keep him off the table. Right off the bat there were a few things I could tell would make meal times easier: the five point harness kept my little one where he needed to be and the magnetic tray top was a breeze to clean and dishwasher safe. I also really appreciated the grow with me feature, for snacks and lunch I often kept the tray top on and pulled the chair into the kitchen with me and for dinner I would raise it up and have him eat at the table as part of the family. I can also see how the newborn stage could have been useful when he was little. Now for the cons: the base of the highchair extends pretty far behind the chair and for smaller dining areas can cause some trips and stubbed toes (you can see this in my second photo). My biggest complaint is that there is no footrest. Many occupational therapists and pediatricians recommend that babies have a footrest for stability while eating, this provides proper ergonomics and leads to babies sitting for longer periods and eating more. You can see that my son has his feet crossed while eating in my photo, this is a common way babies seek stability when a platform is not provided. All in all, I enjoyed this highchair and it's easy to clean design and grow with me features but wish it had a footrest for early eaters!

Simple and functional

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was given this high chair to try as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel. My kids are 4, 2, and 5 months old so we were able to try all stages. The high chair works the best for my 5 month old. He seems content despite my hesitation with the comfort of the chair (didn't seem soft enough for a little baby). He's not eating solids yet, but he's able to watch everyone and sit at the kid table with my other two. My 2 and just turned 4 year olds aren't big fans of the high chair- 2 year old likes to sit on her legs and both look for a place to rest their feet. The bar under the chair is too far back to use. The removable block on the chair is hard to take off too. So while this high chair can be used through toddlerhood, it most likely won't work out for my family that way. My favorite part is the wipe clean seat cushion which can also come off if it's a really big mess. No more having to machine wash and air dry in between needing a high chair after every big spill, potty accident, or diaper blow out. Another cool feature is the tray table. It's nice and easy to remove both the entire table with one hand (very helpful when carrying a baby in the other) and the table liner to wash. It would have been great if they designed a place to put the table when not in use. I didn't like that there are only two recline options: none or very reclined. In the recline option our 5 month old tries to sit up more, but doesn't really look ready for the upright sitting position. Technically it's for 6 months+, but he'll be 6 months next week and I probably still won't use that setting yet. Would be great if there was a middle option. While the two height settings are useful so the two older ones can interact with him (short) and he can watch us cook in the kitchen (tall), it's too short for our bar height table. We would like for him to actual sit at the table and see everyone, but the tallest setting is not enough. Other thoughts: it's light weight and easy to move, and it was really easy to put together. Sometimes it's hard to change recline position when baby is in the seat because one of the buttons gets stuck. It's a nice simple high chair, it just doesn't work for us mostly because of the height of our dining table.

Best Highchair

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This high chair is both kids and parents approved. As parents, we love how aesthetically pleasing it looks and we absolutely love how easy it is to clean! Both my 18 month old and 4 year old love sitting in it because it is comfy and the tray is the perfect size for meal time and activities. I also put my 4 month old because the seat tilts back and she was just kicking her feet and enjoying. I also really like that you can adjust the height of the chair and how easy it is to pull of the tray. Overall, you can’t go wrong with this highchair and we love it!
Thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing me with this high chair.

Just multistage high chair we needed

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received the high chair as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel and I’m so grateful for it! This high chair grows with your kids or can be used across lots of ages. With a 3 yo, 5yo and newborn, I was able to use all three of the high chairs phases. It was perfect to set the baby down into while I ate, allowed the toddler to be seated table height with us and the big kid could get in and out with ease. We used the tray for lunches and it was so easy to clean. In fact, the whole chair is easy to wipe down and keep tidy due to the minimal random holes.
Honestly, having used other high chairs, this one is definitely been the easiest to use, clean and best value given how long I can use with and all the ages that can take advantage of it.
