Cleanest Highchair Ever
on October 30, 2021

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We love this chair. We are on kid 3 and we’ve had all sorts. We still have one we love but it drives me crazy with getting sticky food off, and we were never able to get the tray for it because the bottom is honeycombed. Who wants that with a kiddo learning to eat? Enter the 4moms. It’s adjustable and that actually means it adjusts! I was able to remove the straps we don’t need for my very independent 19 month old and make it a big girl chair, but still leave the middle piece so she doesn’t slide out by mistake. And I can clean every single part of this with one piece of paper towel and no stress. The tray comes off easily and the top can be machine washed, though we’ve never needed to since it wipes clean just fine. So thankful the Stellar Product Testing Panel sent us this to try as we thought we’d just muddle through with what we had, but this thing has been so much more useful than I imagined. Bonus: it’s so sturdy my little one actually climbs in to it by herself without it tipping.

Beautiful highchair

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was given the 4moms Connect Highchair to try as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel with my 3 year old and 5 year old.
We assembled the chair together and within a few quick minutes it was ready to use. In order to have it fit my kids best, I removed the straps of the 5 point harness and the post. The highchair is very sturdy and stable.
It is a beautiful highchair that has a modern style. The seat was comfortable due to the foam insert and the cupped shape of the seat.
Both children enjoyed sitting in the chair. My daughter and son learned to push and pull the chair to get themselves closer and farther from the table independently pretty quickly.
At this age, we prefer to all eat with plates directly on the table, but the tray would be a great feature for feeding younger kids. The tray was easy to attach one-handed. Plus it comes with a detatchable tray liner to help make cleaning up even faster, but still allow your child to remain in safely their seat with the tray's base in place. Those features are a huge benefit for messy babies! The medium size of the tray was small enough to comfortably carry without wobbling or spilling food and big enough fit a sheet of 8.5x11 inch paper, so it is great for arts and crafts in addition to meals. The tray can be put in the dishwasher too.
I'd have to say my favorite feature of this highchair was the ease of clean up! I have yet to encounter something that doesnt wipe up perfectly. We have used all sorts of foods and crafts and nothing has stained it or been difficult to remove. A feature that wasn't highlighted was that the bar in the back could be used to hang bibs!
I will say that I wish this model of chair included a footrest or have an additional lower setting, so toddlers can climb in and out safely. Overall, this chair will be a great addition to your home and will be used for years with your family.

Love this chair

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this high chair as part of the stellar product testing panel. I love this high chair though! It was super quick to put together. It took me 5 minutes by me self. The first thing I noticed when I put this chair together was the rubbery chair liner. It is my favorite part of this chair. So often high chairs have hard to clean liners that are a pain to clean. The removable rubbery liner is super easy to clean and also very comfortable. The overall profile of the chair is fairly simple and low-profile. It doesn’t have wheels but the legs glide easily on our hardwoods as my toddler pulls herself up to the table. I love the easily attached tray with one hand. It has magnets on th eclair that help guide the gray into place which is helpful when you’re holding a toddler in one hand. I also love the tray has a top part that lifts off easily in case you forget to clean it before the next meal and there is another tray underneath you can use. That is my second favorite feature. My off-the-charts height 3 year old loves this chair. We used it as a seat without the tray and it pulled up under our table easily. My 1 year old also liked this chair with and without the tray. The only thing I would add is a foot rest. Both of my children had feet dangling and I would’ve appreciated an adjustable foot rest for them. Many nutritionists suggest foot rests for better attention span from toddlers in chairs. That would’ve made it perfect for me. I love the adjustable heights and recline features. I do feel like even the most straight recline setting is a little too far for my preference but it’s still manageable. I love the simplicity of this chair but still with adjustability.

A real grow with you high chair
on October 30, 2021

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received the 4moms Connect High Chair via the Stellar Product Testing Panel to review. I have 3 children: 5, 3, and 3 months, so they were perfect to try all three of the stages available to use in this chair, demonstrating just how much this chair can "grow-with-you"!
To start, the packaging was very streamlined and almost all recyclable, which I really appreciated. Simple to unbox and very clear instructions to assemble (only needing 4 screws!) I loved the smooth surfaces- easy to clean- and the lack of fabric so I don't have to take it off and wash it. The foam seat is very comfy and the buckles were easy to use. The metal legs and plastic upper give the chair a nice bottom weight and it feels very sturdy.
In the first stage, my 3 month old enjoys sitting with the rest of us at meal times. They were very comfortable in the recline and straps. I love how simple and smooth it is to adjust between recline and upright. We adjusted to the highest height so they could see over the table.
My 3 year old tried the chair in stage 2, with the crotch post and tray. The tray was very easy to attach and remove with one hand, especially with the built in magnets to help align. They thought it was very comfy, even with straps, and was easily close to the table on the lowest height setting.
My 5 year old tried the chair in stage 3 as a child's raised chair, without straps, crotch post, or tray. The chair was simple to modify by removing these features to make a smooth chair. The foam cushion stayed secure and did not easily move around when they were sitting in the chair, and their legs fit under the table comfortably when pushed in. The manual does state that children should never be allowed to climb into the chair and should be placed by an adult, which doesn't seem practical for a typically developing 5 year old, but it is a height that an average 5 year old can reach to sit independently.
For a higher end baby product, I love to see the opportunity to use the product for up to 5 years! Really get your money's worth. The design is modern but neutral and should blend into most decor.
As a professional who works with developmentally delayed children, I see a lot of potential in this chair to support needs of children who may need more physical support at an older age or who need a consistent transition to the table that does not involve changing chairs. A well made product that has a lot of potential.

Sleek and simple with no drawbacks

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am so floored by this high chair. It honestly makes me question how somebody couldn’t have come up with this beforehand? The design is so sleek, and simple, but so multipurpose. Everything just makes sense, and I struggle to find any small thing wrong with it. I feel like all baby products have at least one drawback where you’re like “why would somebody have this design feature?” But that is not the case with this highchair.
The best feature of this chair is that you can use it from birth. Particularly for parents who have another child, being able to bring your infant up to the table with you while you eat is huge. I also love the easily removable tray for cleaning.
This chair gets a 10/10 and puts other chairs to shame! And some of this require adapters, a tray and other extra pieces and cushions to make it work for every stage - this one has everything you need! Thank you to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for sending this my way - it’s a keeper.

Simple is best

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have gone through so many highchairs since having three little ones. I’ve always found them tedious to clean and not so comfortable for the baby. When Stellar Product Testing Panel reached out to us to try out a new highchair I was so stoked. It arrived quickly and I eagerly opened the box to check it out. It literally took less than ten minutes to put together. I love the look of it! So simplistic. I was a little hesitant about it being white because I thought it would stain. But our daughter had pasta (biggest mess) and I didn’t get to clean it right away so it sat for a little while. When I washed it off the sauce came right off. My favorite feature is probably the easily removable tray. I can literally do it with one hand while holding our daughter. Comes off and on with very little effort. You just set it on and it snaps into place. I love that it has an extra removable top tray I can just take off to rinse. Our daughter being comfortable in the chair while she eats is the thing that’s most important to us and the crotch post ensures she isn’t sliding down in the chair while she’s eating so she’s sitting straight up and enjoying our family meals. I can also adjust the height of the chair so she can be pushed right up to the table while we are all eating together. She loves that. The harness keeps her safe as well. It’s a no fuss harness for sure. Easy on, easy off. Also very easy to wipe off and keep clean. This high chair is such good quality, durable. I know it will last with us for many years. As she grows we can take out the crotch post and do away with the harness. The tray can be done away with as well and she can eat right at the table. We tried it with our four year old and it was a super easy transition. We hardly eat out these days and meal time is a great time for us to bond together as a family so this highchair has been a tremendous blessing in that regards. She’s comfortable and happy when we’re all together and enjoying our family meals. And mommy is happy because it’s simple and easy to clean (how everything in a moms life should be).

Great long term high chair
on October 30, 2021

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As a mom of 3, I really enjoyed testing this 4moms connect high chair through the Stellar Product Testing Panel!
I tried both the newborn stage and the toddler stage. Having the option to quickly change between kiddos is a great feature and one that will allow it to work with our family for years. I love that in addition to the adjustable straps the fact that it reclines is great to keep the baby out of the way of the other kids while I’m preparing meals. I will say I have a true newborn (under 4 weeks and under 6lbs) and it is not really designed for them. The straps hold them in but it’s the same setbacks as a car seat at this beginning stage- they can’t hold their heads up so they sink to one side and the straps irritate the baby’s neck. It’s the reason I’ve put it at 4 stars instead of 5. Other than that it’s sleek and very functional- goes well with most decors and wouldn’t stand out as being and eye sore or too bulky in a dining room or kitchen space.

Very sturdy but not missing a couple key features
on October 30, 2021

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This high chair is VERY sturdy but also looks sleek and classy. Since it doesn’t look like other plastic and metal high chairs, it actually looks pretty elegant in the dining nook. The materials are very high quality and it is so easy to clean - the straps can be easily removed and the seat can be wiped down on and under the cushion. I used the chair in the newborn stage configuration for my 5-month-old, and I think the chair is really perfect for that stage. I am so happy to be able to sit down at the dining table and feed him his first foods! It’s also a great place for him to sit and watch me get things done in the kitchen. I’ve also tried the main, non-reclined configuration with my son, and i was very happy with how sturdy it is in that position as well. The tray is also well-built and I love how it has a removable cover for easy cleaning. The one-handed attach feature is nice, but I wish you could also detach it with one hand. The chair is also height adjustable, which is key to being able to use it at different levels, especially if you have more kids and want them to be able to interact more easily, For both baby and toddler stages, there were two main features I wish it had. First, in the reclined position, the harness falls into the seat - this makes putting a small baby into the chair a little more difficult, because you have to grab the crotch harness while holding your baby with one hand. Since it features a magnetic attachment tray, it seems logical that they would have made the harness have magnetic attachments to the chair so you could easily put your baby in and out, but the chair does not have this feature. Additionally, the chair doesn’t have foot support for your baby. This is fine for the baby stage, but once your child grows to toddler size, they should have a spot to rest their feet. Finally, the seat itself seems a little small, so I don’t imagine it would fit larger toddlers for long. Nonetheless, if you are adamant about having your baby sit at the table as early as possible, I would highly recommend this high chair for durability, quality, safety, ease of cleaning, and sleek design.
