A multi purpose high chair that grows with baby

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was able to try the 4moms connect high chair thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel.
I did not know what I was missing out on until we started using the 4moms connect high chair. With my first daughter we used a very basic chair which got us through but we had to wait until she was able to sit on her own to use it.
With the 4moms connect, my newborn has been able to sit in the chair in the reclined position and sit with us at dinner. Sometimes we sit at the dinner table and other nights we sit at the counter and it is so nice that the chair height can be adjusted to accommodate. I also will place her in the high chair and have her close by while I cook.
Now that my daughter is sitting up with better control, we are able to sit the chair more upright with the tray. She will be 6 months in a few weeks and we can’t wait to start solids with her. I love that the tray is magnetic and only requires one hand (because with two kids you never have two free hands). It has made removing and replacing the tray easy and effortless. The tray also has a removable top, that is dishwasher safe, making it super easy to clean!
The material of the chair is very comfortable for baby but is also sooooo easy to clean!! Granted my baby hasn’t started eating solids yet but she has had other types of accidents while sitting in the chair and I was able to clean this up in no time!
The chair has a relatively small footprint and does not feel big and bulky. My one complaint would be when you pick up the chair, if you lift from under the tray and closest to the seat you end up pushing the buttons to adjust the height. You do end up having to readjust the height but this is not a deal breaker.
My favorite thing about this chair is how versatile it is. You can use this from newborn until a toddler (my toddler even uses it from time to time). I like products that can be used long term, for multiple stages and for different purposes. We use this high chair several times a day and it still looks brand new! I think the cost is well worth the investment because it really is a top of the line product.

Nearly perfect high chair for babies and toddlers

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was thrilled to receive this item from the Stellar Product Testing Panel because we use high chairs multiple times a day in our house!
There’s a simple reason why I couldn’t give it a perfect 5 star rating, but there’s so much to love about this high chair that I know the masses will probably love it! It’s certainly earned a spot at our kitchen table for our two year old, who isn’t anywhere near ready to be in a normal dining chair.
At 32 months and 30 pounds, my daughter uses this in the middle stage setting for this 4moms Connect High Chair: upright, 5 point harness, crotch post, and usually the tray. Sometimes we pull her right up to the table for dining, but she loves the tray when she “helps” us prepare meals in the kitchen. It’s great that the high chair is lightweight and sturdy because we do carry it back and forth from kitchen to table.
The tray is definitely easy to use, and I really love that there’s a washable insert that lifts right out- perfect for super fast cleanup. The floor footprint isn’t too wide (great for avoiding the trip hazard!), and the seat is as easy to clean as it looks! I’m really excited to keep this as a comfortable, safe seat for my daughter when she is old enough to remove the harness and crotch post and just use it as an attractive toddler sized chair at the table.
My major complaint is that there is no footrest for any age of child on this high chair. Proper positioning while eating is important to the development and safety of little ones, and unsupported, dangling legs could easily be avoided by adding a footrest. I also wish the back were a slight bit more upright, more of a true 90° angle. That said, I do think this high chair will be very appealing and satisfying for most families, for newborns through preschool age!

Innovative and Easy Peasy

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Easy Peasy! That’s the first words that come to mind when thinking about this high chair. Thanks to Stellar Product Testing Panel, I was able to see how updated and easy this high chair by 4Moms really is. I have tried a lot of 4Moms products. They are known to be really innovative and easy to use. This high chair is no exception! Initially, the set up may be a little cumbersome for some. Compared to other high chairs, I did feel this one was a bit different to set up, but worth it.
Kids are messy and moms have their hands full. The BEST features of this high chair tackles both mess and ease. The first great feature is thanks to magnets. Some accessories stay put on the food tray (4Moms Compatible bowls which I had on hand), leaving less error for a big mess meaning less clean up time for you! Got your hands full? The tray snaps on with one hand! Now that’s a mamas helper that I can get behind! When it comes to style, the high chair is really nice looking. It can fit with all decor styles without sticking out and looking like another kiddo product. I tried this high chair with my infant and toddler. The fact that I can feel comfortable putting my 3 month old in a high chair is a huge improvement of the modern high chair. The seat reclines for a perfect fit and balance for a little one. The second stage is a perfect and comfortable fit for a toddler and keeps them at a great height!

Must have high chair

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When I was building my registry, I didn’t know much about high chairs and thought that they were all the same. I registered for the cheapest high chair I could find, that had features that were important to me like dishwasher safe, adjustable, easy to clean, and made from safe materials. The high chair I registered for sat in giant box because it came with a lot of tiny pieces, and could only be used once my baby was 6 months old… this was a problem because my baby started eating solids at 5 months and needed a high chair. Luckily, stellar panel sent me this high chair and opened my eyes to better options, and taught me that high chairs are not all the same!
What I love about this high chair:
It was extremely easy to assemble and only came with a few pieces!
I love that it has 3 stages and can accommodate a newborn! Most high chairs start at 6 months, but we loved having our 4 month old sit at the table with us while we ate, and then fed him solids at 5 months in this chair. This was a game changer! We have used stages 1 & 2 so far and found the adjustment incredibly easy.
The high chair is good looking and easy to clean.

The only part of the high chair that I have trouble with (and this is just being picky) is the one hand tray attach. My husband can use it more smoothly than I can. It truly hasn’t been too big of an issue.

Sturdy high chair

This high chair was easy to take out of the box and instruction were easy to read. The only problem I had with installing it together was screwing in the legs. I would screw them in and think I had them tight, just to be lose. I had to put some arm muscle into it. Then it was good to go after that. I like that it is a neutral color, as I have a baby boy and a toddler girl. It’s a simple design which is good and makes it easy to clean. I like that it has a detachable tray that can go in the dishwasher, but it never got to dirty so I just hand washed it. The other nice thing about the tray is you can take it off the high chair with one hand. It was useful when I was holding baby in one hand and wanted to take the tray off to put him in the highchair. The tray also snapped in easy to the highchair. My five month old baby tried it out first and really enjoyed sitting with us at the dinner table while we ate and he played with toys on the tray. My two-year-old daughter also used it some to eat, but mostly used for a safe play for baby to play. I like that it’s not as wide and bulky as some other high chairs. We have a small dining room and it fits very well. It was nice that it has adjustable for height on the high chair. We have hard wood floor in our dining room and the high chair slid across the floor really easily. For the most part the straps were easy to use. It was just hard to get the middle buckle out. It would be stuck under the babies butt and would be nice if there was a clip or a magnet or something to keep the middle buckle staying upwards when getting baby into the seat. It was easy to adjust the straps when changing from baby siting in it to toddler sitting in it. The top straps and the side straps can detach from each other which makes it easy to take baby out of the high chair. A neat feature on it was you could recline the high chair back for an infant. We did not use it in reclined position much as my baby is getting older to sitting up and wanting to play but would be great for a newborn a month or 2 old. Overall I am very pleased with the high chair and will continue using it.

Simple Highchair

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was so excited to receive this item from the Stellar Product Testing Panel because we have a large range of ages for high chairs in our home. There are so many great things about this high chair.
First off, this high chair is very easy to assemble. It came in pieces in a box and I was able to assemble in 15 minutes while watching my kids. It is very sturdy and felt this as I was putting it together. The tray is very simple to get on and off yet my children were not able to take it off without me.
I absolutely love that this transforms with age. We have a 2 year old foster child that was able to use it with the insert between legs, tray, as well as 5 point harness due to his developmental delay. My 4 year old son also uses this as a dining chair to sit up to the table with us. I pop off the insert between the legs and scoot him up to the table without the tray and he loves it.
I love how wonderful this highchair looks in our home. It takes up a very small area and is able to easily slide around the home. Cleaning it is very easy with a rag and it wipes clean. The only reason I did not give this 5 stars is that my son feels uncomfortable with his legs hanging. I would love a simple footrest for his feet while he eats. It would be great if it was adjustable for the younger kids too.

Versatile Highchair

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We were nearly out of the high chair stage, or so I thought! My two-year-old is a big fan of this high chair! When I was sent this high chair from the Stellar Product Testing Panel, I was happy to see the features that appealed to parents of toddlers. I removed the straps, knowing my son would not be a fan. Since he likes to be like his big brother, I was able to slide this chair up to the table without the tray, and he cooperatively (and safely) sat at the table! The tray is easy to get on and off one-handed, once you get the hang of where the handle is. The tray is a good size. My boys both like playing on it. I do wish it had a little higher of a lip around the edge. The chair is very lightweight and easy to move, which is nice, but I do think it feels a bit flimsy. Cleaning the chair is simple. There is no cloth, and so wiping it down is a cinch. My main issue with the chair is the size of the base. The back legs stick out quite far from the table. I have tripped over them several times. I would not recommend this chair for a small dining room or kitchen, as the footprint of the highchair seems to be large. Overall, I was pleased with the highchair based on the grow-with-me features and ease of cleaning.

Very impressed

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had heard great things about the 4moms baby gear so I was really excited to get to test this high chair out as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel! Overall, it really impressed me, although there were just a few minor things that I think could be improved. I used it with my 2 year old as the toddler/preschooler seat option. Here’s what I loved:
- Very minimal and modern design!
- super easy to wipe down and love that the tray has a removable top part for even easier cleaning.
- So cool how you can use it from the new born stage! Can’t wait to use it with our next little one so they can be right at the table with us during mealtimes.
- Easy to switch between age modes and to raise or lower the seat.
- Easy to pull up right to the table when not using the tray.
The small things I think could make this high chair even better:
- A step for toddlers to use when climbing into the chair. It makes it hard that they can’t get in or out of the seat by themselves easier.
- Would be great to have somewhere to store the tray when not in use.
- Very minimal and modern design!
