[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I upgraded my ThinkPad P52 to a ThinkPad P1 Gen 4. The machine is incredibly good, the keyboard feels better than my P52, the smudges and fingerprints are reduced and easy to clean than before. My workstation has carbon fibre in its lid and looks great, and easy to clean the fingerprints!! Other good change is the display size, love it.
As a workstation I use it to make some designs, do some programming, and process some data that sometimes call for the use of the calculator, surprise! no quick access key to use it! Other useful part that I really miss it's the numeric keypad. I knew the numeric keypad where no part of the laptop, however, getting use to no having it is taking some time.
The other aspect that took some time to get working properly was the generated heat. At the beginning it bothers me a lot, however, after a BIOS update it went under control to a wonderfully comfortable level.
Overall, I am a happy customer and certainly recommends the ThinkPad P1 Gen 4.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The laptop is great but i prefer to have media keys instead of call/chat keys. All in all it does exactly what i need it for autocad, visio, and bluebeam.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This laptop is all I hoped it would be, handling all I throw at it and I tend to be running multiple apps at the same time and it doesn't miss a beat
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Fairly good workstation. Has been meeting most of my requirements but the lack of power options is an issue - All I see if Balanced power option
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The display is very good and the keyboard has a very good tactile feel to it. The finger print reader could be better, but otherwise this is a great laptop.
