[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It ran warm to hot, even on small tasks or browsing. Fan was way too noisey, again on small tasks or just browsing. Tried Windows 11 but the laptop would freeze every few hours and required a hard reboot. Returned the laptop.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

For work I run multiple VMs and MS Teams meetings with multiple video participants on 3 external 4K monitors without issue. I also use Avid Protools Ultimate and have not had any issues even with large sessions. It's fast, light and Lenovo's support has been very good.

Under performances than expected

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been using P1 G4 with 11800H 16GB with T1200 discrete graphics from last 5 days. This Laptop fan start shouting just when open 5 different google chrome tabs, besides that I was on the Microsoft teams meeting and it started shouting in the low performance software.
I also tested this laptop by rendering the video on adobe premiere pro. Total video duration was 30 mins, the maximum GPU temperature was noted as high as 79 degrees Fahrenheit.

trust me readers, it struggles. My old dell laptop(Intel Core i5-7200U with 8gig ram) is much better than this.

Stable and powerful as expected. It's very convenient to add a second hard drive and memory. The 4k display is far better than my old MBP retina, provides a larger visible area than my other old 12'' X230. My only concern is its motherboard which someone said easy broken.

The battery has good duration given it's power and is extended when the brightness is dimmed - dimmed is still plenty bright, although I prefer it brightest when working in the day time. Mine has a sim card (wwan) and that is an amazing feature - i want all my future laptops to have that. I don't notice it every being sluggish, the fan doesn't run continuously, and even when it does run it isn't obnoxious.
Overall, this is a great computer.
