[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Model: Core i9, 64GB Memory, Nvidia 3080
Pros: For a workstation laptop its pretty light. significantly lighter than the new Macbook Pros Powerful, Top of the line laptop performance Great screen, love the 16:10 aspect ratio Trackpad is as good is gets on Windows laptops Webcam has a physical toggle to block it
Cons: Cooling could be better, fans kick up into high gear pretty quickly Proprietary charger
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Powerful Machine and seems to breeze through all tasks so far. Primarily used for financial services. Modelling and other. It is an overkill, but good for gaming as well.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This laptop is remarkably powerful for its size. Coming from an X1 Carbon, this has a heavier, but otherwise similar feel, except for the large 230W power brick which is required for higher configurations. As others have noted, buying an extra one so you don't need to carry it back and forth to work is worth it. I have had intermittent issues with fans on and sleep mode when I have external displays connected. Otherwise, the experience has been powerful and seamless. It's a great looking machine.
