Space bar sticks, only 2 months old

I have had this laptop less than 2 months, and the space bar sticks so often that I have to constantly go back and put spaces between words. I wish I could toss it out a window.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

The IdeaPad 5 is extremely annoying. It is extremely Sensitive, if I sign into email and bump the laptop it will shutdown the window that is open requiring me to sign in again. Where it really becomes an issue is when you are working on a Spreadsheet, Document, etc. and it shuts down what you are working on, its as if I touched the touchscreen but I didnt......extremely frustrating...........
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Nice computer, small quirks.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So I bought this over the weekend and still on the fence about keeping it.
What I like: It is a quick moving machine. It is very light and it has a 10 key pad.
What I don't like so far: The Type C plug is the same plug I have to use the power, so without an adapter I cant use it. . Setting up is not hard but may times in he process it will just turn off, this will happen consistently for quite a while and then it will blue screen, reboot and work fine.

Screen frame has come unglued

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this Sep/20, in Nov/21 an audible noise was heard as the screen frame came unglued. Within two week 3/4 of the bottom has come unglued, it has snapped the hinge and I am unable to close my laptop to take with me on a trip.

Does not power on after 3 times

I purchased this 3 days ago finger printer did not work, I thought ok I can live with that but then it just wouldn't power on something with the power on button. Worst purchase I have ever made.

Defective plastic screen lining (bezzel)

I bought this laptop in April, and it’s already physically falling apart. The plastic lining of the screen (bezzel for those of you in the know) is popping off, and the pressure is causing the whole screen to be lopsided. Apparently the warranty doesn’t cover this because it’s “physical damage.” It’s estimated to be a $250 repair. My brother in law, an engineer, looked at it and saw that some bolts had popped out inside the hinge, leading to this. I have NEVER dropped my laptop and treat it like a baby. He says it’s obvious from looking at it that it’s a defect in the construction. Looked into this a bit and it seems others have had similar issues with Lenovo laptops. Incredibly disappointed with this purchase and will not be buying from Lenovo again. This shouldn’t happen on a $750 laptop that I gently use. It shouldn’t happen from just opening and closing the screen. It won’t even close all the way now, so this seems likely to kill my battery eventually as well.
