Good cheap tablet and Okay Nest Hub alternative.

Good tablet for the price and with the dock it makes an okay Nest Hub alternative. Performance is low end but acceptable for light browsing and streaming. The battery life is great and overall build quality is impressive for the price. It can be used in ambient mode as a Google assistant like the Nest Hub but it's typically much slower to respond than an actual Nest Hub.
I would recommend this to a friend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Beautiful screen, bright with deep blacks. Many hours on-screen time on full battery. Excellent wifi connectivity. Charging stand is a good idea, but because it hasn't a protective case it's already acquired a small scratch on the screen. But still vibrant to look at, and the price was right.

My SD card keeps formatting whenever I reboot my tablet and it kind of lags asides from that its okay

The size is perfect for him, it's big enough for him to use without his reading glasses but not so big that it's hard for him to hold for long periods of time. The part I liked the most is how little bloat ware there was on the tablet to begin with.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Lenovo Smart Tab M8 with Google Assistant is a very handy and easy to use tablet. I purchased it to replace my 15 in. laptop computer. I found that the M8 Tablet is a much easier to use computer that can do all I did on my laptop, Emails, weather, order groceries and check fire hazard for my area. I easily installed a 256 Gig Mini Sd card which gave me the memory it needed to be a full time family computer. I find the 8 in. screen to be a good size for viewing my favorite shows and movies while sitting on my balcony with a fire going in my propane fire pit on a warm summer evening. The Smart Tab M8 paired easily with my BT earbuds for personal listening. I find the Google Assistant to be handy for those family discussions where information must be checked or easily googled. We plan to eventually use it for home security starting with purchasing a video front doorbell and eventually purchasing the Smart Home Starter Kit. All in all we are very happy with our purchase and recommend this tablet to anyone looking to purchase a tablet or move up from an older laptop.
