Good idea, but great care must be taken when placing the camera on the tripod using the plate to ensure that the cord from the connector does not get caught in the clamp. I'm sure there could have been a better design so that this would not happen.

Ordered this plate because I misplaced my original one. It works well with my Capture Clip and keeps my camera handy but safe. Hopefully I will now find my missing plate because that’s the way it always works out. :-)
