When paired with anchors links, the Peak Design tripod, and the capture the standard plate has become an essential part of my work flow. I keep one attached to the bottom of each of my cameras allowing me to very quickly switch between having my camera on a leash, on the tripod on on the capture clip. This allows me all the versatility I need while shooting. I even am able to use the plate to lock into other tripods so I never really have to take the plates off! They stay on the camera really well and never seem to move. I don't think I have had to adjust them since I put them on a couple years ago.

It’s really nice that you can purchase separate plates for different cameras. You don’t need to buy the whole thing and you save money. Very nice feature peak design.

Excellent baseplate that doesn't interfere

The Peak Design Standard Plate would easily be my favourite baseplate for my tripod. I've used it on various arca-swiss compatible type tripods and it's never missed a beat. I am mainly using Fujifilm mirrorless camera bodies these days and I'm able to easily open the battery compartment to change batteries without having to unscrew the baseplate, which makes life so much easier especially when time is money on working shoots. Thanks Peak Design for a great quality product!
