Use this MORE than my plates

I rarely use my tripods, so went back to the Anchor Mount. It's so much smaller and cleaner than having the Pro Plate.

Excellent little part

I used this to mount on my 100-400 zoom tripod foot. It allows the use of the anchor links, so the strap is on the lens, in the proper place. Small, easy to use and not in the way.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Just Purchased the Anchor Mount for my Canon R7. Quality is excellent, including the black finish. Comes with a hex key and looks like part of the camera frame. Highly recommended.

Lots of others reviews are not for the mount

Many of the reviews below are for the capture clip not the mount. This is a gorgeous little mount ideal for a camera that you won’t be connecting to a tripod or capture clip. Despite its diminutive size I use mine to carry a Z9 and heavy f1.2 glass as I wouldn’t try and hang that wait off my trouser belt and it’s hardly the camera for landscape.

Great gadget in terms of use, design and folding

My boyfriend has one of these and it is awesome. We use it for FaceTime when the tablet is out of reach, or stable cell photos.
